  1. I refitted the recirc on mine for a week. Maybe felt a bit smoother on gear changes but wasn't the same without the woosh as you say- so back on it went :-) Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  2. 281692023491 check this item number out on ebay, is that what you are looking for? Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  3. Apparently the ppp does away with the rear cat ie the one after the main on the wrx ppp Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  4. Hi guys, looking for some advice on what to get/do. Currently have a prodrive backbox and (i think) centre section that i bought off the 'bay. The centre section has rusty flanges despite being a stainless pipe (not a fan of dirty flanges) and doesn't seal very well at the bb flange so I'm considering replacing the centre section and 2nd cat with a decat and keeping the back box. The questions are: Do prodrive centre sections have cast flanges as opposed to stainless or have i been stitched up? Will a 2nd decat throw a CEL or require a remap? What is the standard downpipe cat capable of flowing power-wise? As tempting as it is, i want to try keep it emissions test friendly rather than going down the full decat route. Sorry for the amateur questions, i have done a search but couldn't find what i was looking for!
  5. I love the sound these make, as a colleague describes it; 'it sounds like a squirrel has been thrown into the engine'. Unfortunately i can't justify 250 quid to sound awesome at the moment! Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  6. I bought a prodrive intercooler y pipe off ebay..... trying to get basic mods in place ready for a re-map but trying not to spend too much all at once so i can enjoy the modifying experience :-) Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  7. Air con pipe recharge valve? Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  8. Donation made :-) Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  9. Depends on the run and driving i think! I prepared myself to accept 20mpg and think of anything else as a bonus... so I'm over the moon! Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  10. Looks like a nice straight car too and only 10 miles down the road from me. I'd be cautious but a cat c or d if its planned to be a long keeper doesn't have massive implications as long as they are repaired properly imo, even better if you can find out what happened. I don't know if its true but i was told even a relatively light front end knock can write these off due to the proximity of cam belt, expensive parts and labour costs which tend to lead to insurers writing them off. 11. Do you have key cover with your car, bank or home insurance? Or does your mate whos car it was? Might be worth a try? Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  12. I drove it.... went to Norwich shopping for the day and averaged 32mpg? I topped up when i got back out of curiosity. That includes brisk progress off roundabouts to the legal limit. Really chuffed and exhaust sounds perfect, quiet with windows up and a nice burble with them wound down. Had it a fortnight and loving it :-) Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  13. It is possible (anything is!)- but a lot of work and not really worth it unless you want a pretty serious in depth project. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  14. Fitted my ebay bargain prodrive exhaust. Sounds beautiful. Unfortunately my mate ordered the wrong spring bolts (done it in his workshop out of hours), so had to knock some up with high tensile bolts, springs and a double nut to stop them vibrating loose Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  15. None of it is really horrendous stuff, mostly service items really but just a few of them Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  16. Have you got a pic? Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  17. I think i found it thru Tapatalk too. Glad i did because its not all the bhp pub figures pro internet subaru keyboard warrior bullshit some forums seem to be Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  18. Recieved my scoobyworld seat cover, went for black with WRX logo in white, doesn't look quite as sexy as the drivers seat but protects it from being covered in mud/paint/general crap after a day at work Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  19. Need to do mine too, they're showing slight fogging at the tops. I washed mine (again), refitted the dump valve (missed the sound!), sorted out getting my prodrive system fitted (hopefully tues on my mates ramps if he can get gaskets in time!), and just had a quick check under the bonnet, amazed how many screw hose clips were loose! 20. My last car i had some halfords all weather headlight bulbs. They had a continental style vivid yellow light with a blue ring around the outside. Looked pretty awesome and really did make a difference in fog rain etc. Also stands out from the hid crowd (why be a sheep?) Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

  22. Washed, polished, bought a new air freshener, and my pro drive exhaust turned up today, woohoo! Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  23. Thought I would upload a pic- bit boring as totally standard but gave her a quick wash and polish today, took the bailey dump valve off and a standard recirc back on. I miss the sound but seems smoother and more responsive especially on gear changes. Also been told my prodrive exhaust has turned up at work today, and I've ordered a scoobyworld seat cover to try keep the interior clean. Being a maintenance manager by day means that i can get a bit grubby.... Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  24. Just to scare some sense into you; my micra required wishbones at 25k, a 550 repair thru nissan. By which point it had already eaten a set of tyres due to its tendancy to understeer rather than turn.Main dealer servicing (which you need on new cars, and a lot of these new superminis only have very limited pattern parts available = big £) Also every puddle it hit the traction control would freak out, try to rescue the situation by braking a wheel and throwing the car off track, and I'm pretty sure i once got overtaken by a slug. To be fair it was a close race and the slug is the lightweight racing cousin to the snail. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  25. Depends how much it is and how much you like it! Probably wouldn't need much to recommision it, as for restoration in thr proper sense of the word its probably not unless you want a challenge or it has sentimental value to you Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
