  2. Welcome! What do you have?
  3. Looks good! Sounds like a great result!
  4. So on the way home the top rad hose decides it wants to decorate the engine bay . Bodged it but off road until I source a new and hopefully uprated one!
  5. When was it last properly serviced? Air filter and plugs?
  6. Is it same regardless of how you apply throttle or if you steadily apply quarter?
  7. Some examples for your sort of budget. You would pay a lot more through a Subaru dealer typically. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201601399255 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311666400145
  8. Exactly as above!
  9. Cheers Gambit. Great community here and always a pleasure to support it best I can.
  10. Welcome! Get a gauge fitted first, see how it's going. Then maybe go with the decat followed swiftly by a remap . This will get you started on the right road.
  11. Welcome! I do love a V8 . Never done Veetech thingy though, too inpatient I guess. Joking aside, looks good mate Look forward to hearing how you get on. Just ask if you have any questions.
  12. If you've got £13k great
  13. Maybe consider a JDM 2.0 litre Hawkeye Hold its value better too #just saying (I usually do lol)
  14. Are you dead set on a hatch?
  15. Welcome! Very nice cars, one of the best looking family wagons around at the mo I think.
  16. Welcome! That looks proper! The white cluster lights look really good.
  17. Yeah he made it , you can just see the flag up the far end.
  18. Good day out! lots of cars on the joint stand!
  19. Welcome Lewis! Where abouts are you in Berks? I know a good place over in Aylesbury. They can carry out works and tuning. You'll def be able to comfortably push the stock turbo to the max with those mods but depends how much power you want? If you looking 'big', the limiting factor will be the gbox.
  20. No worries, must be a fair drive for you!! See you in there.
  21. Anything specific? I think he wanted top end dollar for it but then he'll find someone who'll pay. Let is know how you get on.
  22. 20k post! Cheers will do, hope the weather forecast is accurate for once!
  23. Certainly looks the nuts! Sounds like a good set up, nothing too mental. For me it would be checking the part history. Cambelt done? I'd want to see a stone cold start if possible. Check for signs of oil weep around the heads. Clutch bite and gear selection, let it sit idling for a while when hot, stop and restart. standard things really for any car. I always forget to check brake wear too. New set of discs and pads arent mega cheap for quality ones. Hope it goes well.
  24. Anything between£4-5k ish? depending on condition and location I guess. Nice cars for sure though, little bit rarer. Would be the blob all the way for me. Resale value will be better too I'd imagine.
  25. but least theres a positive outcome for you! Solid Fozzy
