Yes the Rover 75 had very similar. I did debate about the size when I had them done but thought least I know what I'm getting. Know what you mean though.
I've had mine on for well over 10 years and been picked up once along time ago, £30 fine and that was a full on pull over everyone type of campaign. I think if they are legal size and font your less likely to draw attention.

Why was the rad replaced? Where you getting overheating issues before?
That happening in such a short space of time it not good and you may have a head gasket failure. You can get sludge with certain types of coolant, so fist point of call is thoroughly flush and refill. Monitor closely and hope its just the type of coolant.
Check your oil on dipstick and filler cap.
No other symptoms?
That's a very clear headlight! Good job. I used the Meguiars version but it was !Removed! hard work and still need more work. I have bought some other stuff so will see how it goes but good to know yours worked well.
I only get one at a time though, so smaller primary turbo from low rpm until around 4500 rpm, then the bigger secondary until however brave I am, never found the limiter yet. 280bhp stock so it goes well yes.
Engine would still idle and rev. If your revving in neutral I would expect either or both smoke (cold and when upto temp) and or a horrible noise.
If neither go back to check hoses.
Thats cool no worries. Were you accelerating moderately or hard when the issue started?
In the good light, first thing to check is all the hoses are where they should be ie no open ended ones not connected to something. This includes the small vacuum hoses and the bigger one between the turbo and the intercooler. Just have a really good poke around.
There is a chance the turbo is toast but you said you can hear it spooling?
The white smoke is hopefully condensation if your running from cold start. Should disappear fairly quick like steam rather than hanging around like smoke.
Hopefully someone here might jump in with more thoughts.
The scoop is cool, was thinking about getting mine done but a bit more outrageous lol. If you saw the other side of my motor you'd know Im a big fan of a sticker

So just quickly, were you boosting at load? the car still idles fine? smoke at any revs?
My first look would be have you blown the hose right of the turbo. You say you can hear the turbo but is it a louder air noise/whistle?
I might be off but worth a look for now.
