Mine went nuts once and dropped to limp mode but was because of a disconnected earth off the wiring from sender (from gearbox). Reattached and all was well. Yours sounds more intermittent though. Never hurt to have a check around though, bolt may have loosened etc.

I have a used Zero Sports filter you can purchase for £20 and try that if you wanted to give it ago? I would say as previously mentioned a re map would be good advice.

Picked up one of these last week to replace her Polo 1.4 TDI and wow! what a nice car it is! Im actually proper jealous. Its done 101,000 miles with a full service history, 1 previous owner and with an after market Alpine INE S900R touch screen head unit with sat nav, DVD, the lot, that all works from steering wheel controls Its comfortable but has really nice sports seats. The power delivery is awesome! really fast car tbh and surprising handling too. I will be ordering up a Bluefin to take it to 175bhp & 290 lb ft when the cambelt has been done

Fitted the new carbon air intake and the new expansion tank cap cover. I hadnt realised the Subaru logo was so big!

Got some proper settled snow here this morning! Not close to what they had in Norway when I was there earlier in week. The guy who picked me up from the Airport had a 4 wheel drive Mazda diesel estate thing that he drove in the snow Iike Id drive in the dry!

Full car cover arrived today so hopefully no more icy mornings. Booked into garage for newly cleaned injectors fitting, new plugs and a remap with boost controller 👍👍👍
