  1. I wont be there sorry to say fellas. Mrs broke her foot badly so needing my care :) Was trying to get someone to come and sit with her to help but no one free to I have to stay home. Shame, as my next post on this sight is about me selling my Forester. Need a bigger boot and looking for an estate legacy I have seen. Hope you all have a lovely time.
  2. Nothing from me either yet.
  3. Well dear love is after an estate Legacy so trying her best at the moment. Cant scrape together enough dosh though as other bills keep popping up. I do keep looking though. Want a bigger boot than the Forester really. Great time for me to take advantage. Washing my car is one way. Put that whip down boy!
  4. Got the wife to wash mine today before some body repairs tomorrow. Also for the "show season!" I was at work hence not been able to do it, she off at the moment.
  5. Drove the Forester for a little while today and realised I hate my passenger side mirror. It is one of those magnified distorted mirrors. I prefer regular. No idea how to replace the glass. The heating part does not work on it either, does on the drivers side. I need loads of help when figuring things out for cars. Just not me thing.

  7. I ordered them before seeing your post and phoning so hope they are right. No access to phone or net during the day so could only order during closed hours and need them fast ish. Should have phoned though but fingers crossed. Thanks for your help.
  8. How bout both these items? eurocarparts no help. Hope these are the correct items. Cheers. http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts-info?id=10963&cat=96&sub=494&sec=1541&var=32&dc=0&gen=&searchKey=&searchPart= http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts-info?id=1546&cat=96&sub=494&sec=1541&var=39&dc=0&gen=&searchKey=&searchPart=
  9. Yeah, huge amount of play I just did not notice until serviced. Cheers though, will give them a try. Cant say I have found eurocarparts helpful this evening. Normally got on with them ok.
  10. Hi all. I need a new wheel bearing and hub for the rear of my 2005/06 Forester XT. On europarts I was pointed to this http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Subaru_Forester_2.5_2006/p/car-parts/transmission-parts/car-transmission/wheel-bearing-and-wheel-hub/?628800100&1&f99a741cc613101e452ca02675dcbd06897c868d&000370 This seems like the bearing but I cannot find any hub. Can anyone help? I was told to look at the Impreza ones on there but no idea. If anyone can help that would be great.
  11. Lovely looking vehicle. One I have been considering for the Mrs. Nice sound as well. Welcome to the Forums.
  12. Hello, welcome to the forums.
  13. Welcome, very nice motor indeed. I like it a lot, like the colour!
  14. Hello and welcome to the forums. Hope someone will be along to answer your question shortly.
  15. Any suggested ones on the above linked site. The cheaper ones appeal more of course but open to thoughts if others are better and worth large price difference. Appreciate comments. Thanks.
  16. Well that is enough to put me off. Was starting to prefer the NA Forester to be honest for the Mrs. Better boot for her. At the moment I am think neither though unless I can get the Forester for a steal. Appreciate the comments though.
  17. Nice thanks, I am in the medium term after a power steering pump as well. The pulley on mine keeps shredding belts and I am told they are not removable. 2005 XT, no rush as just had a new belt put on but something to keep a look out for. Appreciate you looking out and letting me know. Mud flap more important though for looks lol.
  18. Cheers. Just read it, said it will be sent out prior to the event so will expect it in the next few weeks. Cheers.
  19. Yeah, cheers. Notice the price has just reduced to 1695 which makes it more tempting. Mrs currently drives a 03 Mazda 6 2.0 with 79k on the clock. Not great on our country twisty roads to work in the winter. Also boot is big but not easy for our uses. Taller boot is a bit better although use my Forester when needed. Thanks.
  20. Not sure, normally I have just shown my pass and paid extra for family members but the pass get me and the car in. Are these due to posted out as I did see anything about printing a pass. I think I have paid for two passes for this one.
  21. Well I have three of them on in tact just about. What a pain though. I wanted some that could just fit on with no hassle. I am not good with minor or major mods at all. Just not my thing.
  22. Cheers David. I am thinking about it as I like the Forester. interesting your comments about the performance, don't expect it to be like the XT 2.5 though by any means. Whats economy like? I am not expecting much but interested. Thanks.
  23. Hi all, where can I find some mud flaps for my 05 Subaru Forester XT. Giving the Forester a good spring update, repair and clean so want it ready to go and as good as it can be.
  24. Cheers, Will do David. Will wait to call them as they do not have the 2.5 forester one. They do have a 2.0 Impreza WRX one. Not sure if that's the same. Typical, rear seems more expensive than the front kit. A lot of play in it though so needs doing.
