  1. I will get that sent today mate
  2. Yeah, and sti is 8 so I may introduce sidewall flex by going 225 ? And if I did go 225 would I need to go 40 profile to get the same overall tyre height
  3. when was this done 🤔
  4. So if clinic fit it and you have issues do clinic sort it out ??
  5. Have we got any idea of the width of a hawk wrx wheel against a hawk sti wheel
  6. Ok guys n gals, can I just get a thread going to see what tyres people are running on their new age wrx, I'm specifically interested in what people are running on their hawkeyes in a 215 45 17 fitment and how you feel about them but all new age can be involved, ive got the toyo t1r on my hawk wrx wagon and although very grippy in the dry I just can not get on with the soft sidewall and vagueness they have on turn in and quick direction changes I've looked at re070 potenza and vredestein ultra vorti but can't find either in a 215, I want something with a stiff sidewall and razor sharp handling which the toyos don't have on my car apparently due to the cars weight (people say they are fine on classics) thanks for any info received .... piggy 😁
  7. 👍😁 didn't think of that mate, good idea with the longer bolt !! I had same prob on my 53 blob, bloodyb oil dripping on uppipe, luckily a deer wrote it if before I had to do the gasket 😝
  8. Agreed, a prop shaft surely should not be able hit the floor ???
  9. What you need to do if possible is log the air/fuel ratio all through the rev range and see where it's leaning out
  10. Air/ fuel correction in row 2 is at 25% on a quick glance and without knowing anything else it looks bad, looks as tho it's trying to add 25% more fuel to the map not sure as don't know the software or driving conditions
  11. I was gonna go alcatek just on price alone until I read about the customer service issues, it is truly shocking, wouldn't touch it with a long thing
  12. I read somewhere that someone had this problem, they had a machine shop make them another bolt with a 7mm thread instead of the 6 and wound that in there, now I'm not sure if they tapped it first, but you can actually turn the bolt thread itself into a tap for ally by putting two cuts in the thread wit a hacksaw, you generally can't stop a leaking gasket on these by tightening up the bolts once it's started leaking, I would imagine you would still have a leak even if you did the 7mm mod oops, just seen the date of post, well hope this helps someone else, would like to know how op got on
  13. Just make sure you go to a reputable company that's mapped scoob before, not really sure who's up your way but no doubt there will be someone , just make sure you check reviews online first , and that they properly test drive it after . defo !!!!! ^^^^^^^
  14. Well if you trust him and he knows his stuff then go with what he says, i personally have no idea about the gaskets
  15. And also, a hawkeye wrx doesn't have a cat in the uppipe, so not sure what he's on about 3 cats for in the link
  16. Panel filter or cold air intake, (CAI purely for noise as the normal air box will flow fine up to at least 350bhp, maybe a 255 fuel pump for piece of mind, same with one step colder plugs, and definitely a back box, mine (2007 wrx 100k) made nearly 280 with samota panel filter, plugs, 255, and a straight through back box on standard turbo
  17. 😂😂😂😂😂
  18. Do not fit toyo to a newage, sidewalls are too soft, I've fitted some on my hawk wagon, grip is excellent but the car moves around A LOT on the sidewalls and really messes up the turn in and flickability of the car, apparently they are ok on classics as they are lighter. I've got t1r on mine
  19. Good tips in that link, just research your mapper VERY VERY well before committing
  20. 😜 50mph (55 tops) for me, but I'm leaving at 6am so I dont be "one of them" 🙈🙈
  21. Maybe they are dislexic or dsixlcie or however it's spelt lols
