  1. Try turning over while spraying intake cleaner into the intake to eliminate fuel problem. When my friends classic didn't start because of immobiliser, it would fire up then turn off with check engine flashing so might not be that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. If you changed bearings recently might be uneven wear on brakes, tyres etc from worn bearings. After getting mine changed my brakes were unevenly worn. Standard wheels? Sometimes with aftermarket wheels you need an adapter, can't remember the name of it, but on a friends car the tyre place said it was missing and the car has a little bit of a drone so putting it down to that. This is wheel bearing noise anyway Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Hmmm wouldn't let me post a vid
  3. Emailed on the weekend and an automated response? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. On my 2001 legacy I have 2 bulbs, h1 is high beam and h7 is headlight. On my friends 2000 Impreza classic shape she has 1 bulb for both like stants mentioned which is h4. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. That's for a 2001 legacy, although didn't find it when clicking exhaust parts, there is a separate category for cat converters Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. If you are planning on getting a cat, eurocarparts have their black Friday weekend deals going, looks like it ends Monday night. Order online, put in the voucher code and pick up in the store. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Only reason I said to check wire colours is when I got mine the light was on, went to a garage to change it but turned out one of the previous owners changed it, the connector was the same but the wires were the other way round! So had to force the connector in upside down Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Is it the missus? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Plug it in, see if it runs alright. If not, check wire colours are joined up where they need to be, if you need a wide band etc. Then if still bad, try unplugging MAF with lambda plugged in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I think the code on that was one saying too lean even though it was rich (obd2) it kept trying to take fuel away but it maxed the tolerance and couldn't take enough away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. On a Nissan was sort of the same, on idle you could hear the fuel continuously being adjusted. Took 3 different cleaners to the maf to fix it, intake cleaners, electrical cleaners etc. Think what finally fixed it was taking off the maf, spraying it with Wynns EGR cleaner and letting it air dry. 12. Snapped after second cat to mid pipe, went to try to put a sleeve on cat to mid pipe and the cat fell off :( Some bits ordered :D Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Where did you buy it from? Any notes from prev owners? If from somewhere like eBay I heard in a situation like this it's better than buying from classifieds like gumtree. Can try disconnecting - of battery for an hour then starting it with nothing on , not steering/touching anything to let it 'learn' Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Sounds like an engine running with a washing machine in the background :/ check spark plug condition and colour, take them out, remember which came from where and take a pic of each. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. https://vimeo.com/191316875https://vimeo.com/191316985https://vimeo.com/191317068 Needed to turn around on a main road, had a white van right up behind me for awhile so kept an eye on him while finding a spot to pull over to do a quick turn around without being back ended and didn't see the high curb/low garden arrangement! :'(
  16. I had ordered some exhaust bits from eBay.com instead of eBay.co.uk, maybe you could search on there if you don't mind waiting for one from the US Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. It didn't come on the first drive after reset for me, always second drive or more. Stick with shell, either unleaded or vpower should be alright Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I suppose they might get hotter as a H4 as high and low beam are on the same bulb, if they are one of them annoying people who can't see without high beam and drive with it on all the time it could possibly be too hot for lenses? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. If you had a sensor on the left half and right half of the engine then they would be bank 1 and bank 2 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. Iirc yours is the sports special? Don't know what bulb is in my friends but it was brighter than my legacy. Got a hid conversion kit for my legacy, need to drill through the plastic backing of the headlight with a hole saw drill bit to be able to get the bulb and wire through but it came with a rubber grommet to cover the hole so water doesn't gets through. No problem with any melting so far, had them in for maybe 3 weeks now, changed my foglights to hid for about a week (but they didn't make much of a difference really as my lights are about 2 inches wide) Was on eBay for £16 for H7 bulbs. 23. Oh well incase anyone gets into the position I was in: The ignition lock on the car was one where the dowels had to be drilled out to get the barrel out and the one I was given had a pin you could push to slide the barrel out.. Need to remove the old one anyway to drill both sides so ended up sliding the barrel out, reusing that white plug and slid the old plastic ring over the new lock. Bit loose on the steering lock as the metal was shaped different but just got new bolts to be able to put the whole thing on tighter so it doesn't jiggle around, all works as it should :) (Apart from at the moment chip is in the old key, so just need that against the circle bit of plastic when starting, but after starting it can be removed :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Hmmm never mind, the one that was given looked different with different plastics on the outside etc but was only interested in changing the insides... found out the one on the car is a type that needs the 'pins' drilled at either side to slide it out :/ boohoo Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. Hi, trying to slide out the tumblers on the car, on the second hand one I got the pin pushes in easily whereas the one on the car the pin doesn't move at all! Is this the right pin or what am I doing wrong? The key and or tumblers are worn, jiggles in the slot etc. Tried key in all positions, starting to annoy me now! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
