  8. Should be 280, but obviously the years may have knocked a few horses off. May be worth getting it on a dyno give you a true figure
  9. No worries a better pics of your wheels would be good as some cars came with 16" wheels that the four pots fit under :-D
  10. Thanks chaps, Rick, to be honest I've not looked due to cost and having a 1 year old, it's not been top of the list, Avid was refering to the northern big one at lightwater valley takes place yearly. With regards to the spoiler I beleive it's a factory fit option so I'd have a look on ebay or breakers yards. You can still get a spoiler from subaru for the 2002 -2007 foz so may even be an option contacting them . Just about ready for japshow, you knownit's gonna pour down all the way there :-D

  17. I Feel your (back) pain mate, luckily I borrowed the little ramps in the pic last year made things easier. Uld be nice to have someone near me with a lift I could borrow. When the car was imported somone dis a proper job sealing it so luckily it's only just a prevention coating That waxoil in a pump applicator's a nightmare, wouldn't stop coming out even after id de pressurised it haha. Wasn't so funny driving home with smoke pouring off the car :O
  18. Ill be up for a beer depending on location. Who's staying in which hotel ?
  19. Parking permit holder for me Maybe somone could come up with a round soc sticker design.
  20. Did you get a disc ? One of the last ones to be issued if you did, Whos taking theirs out tomorrow ?
  21. What a ball ache !
  22. Clocks stopped working again so its out and awaiting re soldering tomorrow
  23. Just come across this, I normally use a wire brush go over all the bits you want to re do, then either the 5L waxoil stuff that comes with a sprayer or last year I did the paint on hammerite/waxiol treatment Had mixed results with the spray, mainly once it starts theres no stopping went everywhere on manifold and is generally messy as fook. If you don't have a lift. Brush stuff is good too did the floor pan and all the undersides of wishbones and wheel arches. Both of them have a moisture inhibitors which drys out everything. This year I'm gonna brush the floor pan and get some of the waxoil rattle cans to get into the box sections
  24. They are fairly bulletproot, I have ome of yhe early ones which suffers from a bit of piston slap when cold, theres a buying guide in the general chat section which is useful to have a read through as it applies to all the early models. Obviously rust can be an issue depends on how long it's been here, imports aren't generally as well sealed underneath. They only like vpower for optimum running & like regular servicing and have a look for specialists in your area as main dealer prices are enough to make a grown man cry. I'm not sure about the sti version, the s/tb was the 'sportiest' available at the time mine was released so there may have been slight changes in the 3 years. They are a very fast and capable car with a nice big boot
