  4. Thanks for the offer [emoji16] Isn't thst the foreman's job, mooch around get in peoples way and generally annoy everyone else !
  5. Now i'm intrigued, not much work then ! Best tell that dog of yours to look lively for a change instead of lapping up all the limelight :-D
  6. Be good to meet you mate !
  7. Shame I don't have 10k stuffed down the back of the sofa
  8. Hello & welcome, looks nice and a clean example, Starting off at the back box is a good idea at least that way you won't waste any money and you can work further down the sections to get the volume to your taste, I've briefly looked at the link. Looks good and I'm sure some of the members here have used them, One thing to consider is the diameter of the middle section it's joining to if it will be a straight swop with no modifications to fit ?and 2nd do they do a centre scetion you want to change that in the future ? May as well get a system that does both bits then there will be less hassle when you decide to change the middle :-D Have a look at the centre section on your car see how many resonators it may have, if it's more than one it will be fairly quiet until you give it the beans One of our members has just changed his prodrive back box for a ninja one from scoobyworld and has posted a vid. There stuffs top quality but costs a little more, Dump valves are personal taste, the stock one works well, some people report lumpy running when aftermarket ones have been used without remapping, others dont have a problem. Again with filters some eat through maf's and some people say they have had no problems, If you were thinking about a new one go for a 'dry' type to lessen the chances of killing the maf. I'm sure you probably know this but always allow the car to warm up before driving hard and cool down for a minute or two, although our turbos are watercooled and shouldnt need to worry about coking up it doesn't hurt
  9. Get a your name down in the jap show section, then start palnning :-D
  10. Not sure mate, I'd start another thread to have more knowledgeable responses, if it's uk to uk then I don't see it being a problem, It will cut fuel before anything goes pop though :-D
  11. Watch out the detailing militants are out :-D
  12. Turbo heatsheild ? Uppipe on way out ? Have you access to a really long screwdriver stick it on the manifold and have a listen to where you think it is
  13. Offered to sell her as the misses cant get insured on it and we need something for her to practice in for test. Only a hollow gesture as I knew she'd say no and I have no intention anyway :-D More brownie points for me though !
  14. 2nd that ! I can now only buy stuff for mine that she can't see or is hidden away :-D
  15. Forester, hg issues on the later models as tlag says, early cars not so much but it's a noisy engine, an sf model may be getting a bit long in the tooth for your needs, self leveling suspension will have had it by now, youll be able to tell by looking at the back end if it looks like a dog sitting down then walk away, plenty of aftermarket eeplacement shock options though at a third of the price of subaru ones. The ride comfort is lovely and smooth for the type of car, the newer model also sits about 2" higher than the sf. David's had a foz and now on his legacy so is better at the pros and cons of the sg model forester vs legacy, Sg model will be a better option and as long as it's been looked after should last forever, but as the others have said a leagcy would be a more suited choice,
  16. And we wont have to worried about being puled by the law in the morning stinking of booze :-D
  17. Whoop congratulations !
  18. Put me down for camping too, none of this hotel lark ! ;-) Although that sleeping bag thing looks good I can't justify the price if I only use it once a year,
  19. Do they allow light through the sides or is it more of a straight pattern ? The reflectors In the lamp aren''t great so need something that projects to be he side too
  20. Whoop well done good choice, as sav says once the wallet opens it rarely closes theres always something else on the list that you 'need' :-D
  21. Why not mate do it ! I'd get locking ones though, How big a hole do you have to cut to fit them.?
  22. Link please, how many leds and are they capless bulbs ?
  23. For bonnet ? Which ones are you looking I'm led to believe theres two types ? I've never really seen the need as I'm not that into weight saving, however I have a mate who has a pair on his font bumper of mk2 golf it's so low he can't get it ino the mechanics garage without removing the front end. Can't emember how he's rigged it but it's a good system
