  1. Hello, still not too late to book for japshow at santa pod on the 12th :-D
  2. Hello welcome, good choice I'm biased though. The s turbo is the name given to the European models where as the jap versions were abbreviated to s/tb so if it's a jdm listed as s turbo but says s/tb at the back dont worry. They share 90% of the parts from the impreza undrrneath engine transmission etc. So essentially it's an impreza wrx engine 2.0 tubo unit producing around 235bhp Jdm cars ae better equipped with more electrics and ac as standard and you may be lucky enough to get some nice jdm aftermarket bits. They don't have low range boxes so if it's going to be used a lot off road bare that in mind. But I've never been stuck and have managed to plow through quite muddy fields. Gearing is slightly shorter too. As for the sti version I'm not so sure a bout rhe 1st gen foresters but I assume it's the same as the rest of the sti range. Better seats and slightly different interior, sti struts springs and roll bars, so will sit lower and ride stiffer, more power and uprated brakes bigger wheels to accommodate the bigger brakes. Slight cosmetic changes on the outside, body kit etc. Don't hold me to this as I've never seen the 2001 sti foz but thats usually the case with the uprated sti parts, Anywaybif you have a link to the cars feel free to post up so we can take a peek
  3. Yes its brilliant :-D love watching peoples faces when I open the taps, it needs mappping but it's plenty quick enough at the mo How does the paddle shift work ?
  4. Well 240ps so 237.5 bhp lol
  5. You know your getting on when the hangovers start to last for two days [emoji25] whats taht all about ?
  6. Sorry didn'tbmanage to measure the diameter of the pil due to not having any replacment vac hose, the original's on it's last legs so didn't want to mess around with it, looks like you've managed to sort out whats what anyway [emoji16]
  7. Haha, nope I am virtually bald, any longer and the horse shoe appears, Today I've mainly washed, clayed, washed cut polished and waxed, and of course now it's raining
  8. I did think that after posting. Too early in the morning to function properly :- D
  9. Airbox in a different location on the sport,
  10. Hi welcome, nice looking wagon. Matts the man to speak to regarding wagons specific parts, 90% of the older cas parts are interchangable sallon/wagon/forester are all built on the same platform. Depends on what you want to do coliovers will need slightly stiffer springs on the rear due to the slight increase in weight. Brakes wise the biggest factor is the size of wheels restricting fitment the bigger 4 pot caliper looks like your on 17" from the pic ?
  11. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/2936-what-do-you-look-like-in-real-life/?fromsearch=1 Ther you go mate, although the 1st year of fatherhood has put about 5 years on me haha
  12. There is a thread somewhere I'll try dig it out
  13. I'll have a look tomorrow but looking at the info above I'd go with the my97 jdm listing 0.9mm, mine only boosts to .08bar standard
  14. Just grease yourself up and wriggle in undetected :-D I'm sure you'll be ok I have space in my tent... as a last resort lol

Not fancy puting a cheeky bid in ? Although the ra is pricy how long has it been here
  18. Who cares which bill they look **** hot
  19. You need to show her how dog's coped with being attacked by a ford drom the rear and point out that in the event if a front end collision the layout of the boxer engine is better as it's not as tall as a conventional engine so will be less of an intrusion into the cabin
  20. Dont forget anti rattle clips/shims
  21. 2nd ebc discs and either green or redstuff pads maybe not geeen for the scoob. I'm looking at black diamond for the fronts next month though.
  22. Likely to be the front then, like pete says cooked discs. How new are they ?
  23. Or alignment or slightly buckled wheel, I rotated mine last month and had horrendous handling, but my rear alignment was so far out due to the fronts being wrong I had a an unworn shoulder of rubber that was the cause due to ub even ware
  24. The hardest thing I've seen is splitting the block and getting the wrist pins out. Yes mate, even rebuilt engines slap depending on components used, forged pistons will slap as they are built for abuse and road use doesn't get them as hot as fast. If I were you I'd just either save a bit of cash for each month or build up parts and run the engine until it goes pop (which could be a while) then re build,
