  1. You've beeen done there it's only 134.9 here [emoji16] To be fair it goes up and down as much as the regular fuel, it was about 1.37 2weeks ago
  2. Nick ash plus his mates and myself will be attending on sunday, not sure if pay on the gate tickets are more expensive, It's a early start unfortunately, which way are you thinking of going rick ?
  3. Ooh sounds interesting, are you wanting to run a smaller one and then a larger one ? Google twin turbos sti's theres a few around. But I think you'll be into silly money in no time if you decide to go down that route. If you go for it fair play will deffo be unique.
  4. 6k for a wrx seems expensive. 100k mile engines aren't as big as a risk, loads of us have motors past that here if you look after it and service regularly whas not to say it won't go on to 200k. Always give you an option to rebuild it your not happy with it at least you'll know ot will be good for another 100k
  5. Probably but it would cost a fair bit, loads of custom fabrication needed new electrics and many other things to consider, Whats your goals & the need for a twin set up ?
  6. Hi mate, Little confused, you have an impreza with a foz engine in and are looking to put a gc8 clutch in ? Do you know what year car your engine came out of ? It should all go together but dont hold me to this, as the engines aee essentially the same along with the boxes. I'd wait till someone else comes along before taking my word for it

    Japshow 2015

Provisional date for the 1st japshow is sunday 5th of July. Thought I'd post up early so we can be organised for next year :-D
  8. Whats the advantages over a normal one mate ?
  9. Anyone still interested in going ? Allbeit individually ?
  10. Yep, really good clean then clay re wash if needed, may be some streaks from the clay then cut polish wax etc :-D
  11. As long as you give it a really thorough clean before hand should be ok, I've just done subaru for the 1st time although it looked clean it felt rough as, afterwards my mum commented that it was like silk. You can see the dirt come off onto the clay. All you do is knead the clay into a fredh side and carry on. Well worth doing
  12. Ok so the club stand isn't happening and refunds have been sent out, spoken to santa pod, Weekend tickets are still available as print at home for 28, sunday only 18
  13. Cheers pete, may go for the soft or medium one this time then, Bowthruster, it's really simple just use loads od lube and don't press on too hard. Have a look on youtube for ways of doing it. I like using the bilt&hamber stuff as can use it with water, being paranoid about scratching the car I use a hosepipe on trickle wet an area on the car about a square foot then just rub the car with clay, always go in same direction. You'll feel it stick on the particles and after a couple of passes it will be smooth as silk.
  14. We need to find out if we actually have a stand allocated, daft as it sounds ash booked his tlicket directly told them he was on the soc stand, no problems ! If the bookong office is open today we need to get hold of them & steve to see what exactly what is going on
  15. Seeing as it looks like the club stand won't be happening just trying to get a heads up on who's still thinking of attending. You'll all have to buy your own tickets for the santa pod site. Prices have increased to 31 for weekend and 17 for the sunday. I'd hold off buying them until we've heard back from gambit who's waiting a reply with regards to refunding those who have already paid for club tickets, you never know we may still wriggle in at the death.
  16. Trouble is the only person who has a ticket is ash. So now all tickets will be more as we missed tonights earlybird gonna have to shell out for antoher ticket and wait for original ticket money to come back. Can tickets be picked up on the day ? I say we should still see if group/stand bookings are available if not come up with another plan.
  17. Did you not pay steve via the link ? If not your the only person to actually have a ticket. The rest of us were paying him then he was booking a group and stand space.
  18. Booo :-( for those still wanting to go we need to book on the sabta pod site befpre 5 to get discounted tickets
  19. Not used mine yet :-( Wilko motorsave are so cheap even with discontinued halfords price I still would be paying more, need some tent pegs though wonder if they do them ?
  20. My bilt & hamber clay is dead, so recommendations for some new stuff please ? Bought it as it works with just water, but found it left residue on monday maybe because it''s old. Whats the meguires stuff like or should I be looking at something else ?
