forester spoiler
hi mate had a look at mine and it looks like it must go in through the side mounting point to the spoiler, so i guess it runs up the o/s rear pillar along with all the rest of the electrics instead of poppoling out to the high level it just comes through here

The Forester Turbo
Unless you buy an import then no low range, saying that I've never been in that much trouble I've had to use it, still good in mud not had snow yet :-( I may be wrong but I think the jdm stuff has a different, split 50/50 as opposed to the other markets

Strange noise whilst engine under load???
Sorry I've been reading on my phone and for some reason I couldn't see anything in the post with the code 32 all the text just dissappeared. If the maf or o2 isn't working properly it will either run rich or a lean the ecu will compensate for the problem, easy maf test is to run the car and disconnect the maf. If it stalls it shows the maf is more or less working properly. Not exact and if you have a multi meter you can check the voltage for a more accurate diagnosis. When you pull the maf you'll get another cel come up. Has the car got an aftermarket dump valve on ? Could be the root of your problems, they don't really like them and prefer the oem recirc valve

Strange noise whilst engine under load???
Hello, sorry to hear of your problem, 32 being o2 sensor, when have a look at the turbo just behind the housing in the exhaust down pipe is the main o2 sensor, have a look at all the wiring and make sure it's in place properly and intact. If it's dying it will flash up a cel light now and then. But should not make a whisteling noise unless it's not done up properly and air is escaping under load ? Seems odd but I suppose anything is possible. You can buy generic sensors for a fraction of the cost as a genuine subaru one but I've been told these dont last. A new subaru one from an internet specialist will be about 140ish. I wouldn't even call subaru unless your sitting down and want a laugh.

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Haha I know I'm terrible for that. It When I went to pick the car up he was on about the slap and how it is when she's cold. Does sound quieter with the oil he uses for the changes. Just needs a couple of days to give it a couple of heat cycles.

Suspension Bushes
I'm back down again for the rear disc's & pads too lol. If I could find half a day spare I'd do it myself but just haven't

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Massive detour en route to a christening. Nearly ran out of fuel no shell garage for miles around. Do any classic owners find the car gets noiser whne down to the reserve ? Or is it just my paranoid ear, or maybe fuel pressure issues ? She's always a bit louder after an oil change so I'll just listen out. On another note just orderd a new set of sfs hoses for the I/c and a group n pitch stop :-)

Is the back box restrictive on the forester
Not sure mate how's she sounding now what diameter does the middle section go from to the back ? I had the full lot replaced and they built me another rear box which was the same size as stock. I'll stick a picture up when I have time

Northern Big One
Just read the comments on fb, to be fair who goes with the intentions solely to win a prize it's a charity event and a from what I saw a good event full of like minded people to have a get together and natter, I went with an open mind as I had no idea what to expect, met some nice new people and had a good day out, I didn't think it was supposed to be too competitive and was to be takeen in good faith, if I didn't I wouldn't have entered into the other subaru category, didn't have chance in hell of winning but I hope my extra couple of quid will help some poorly children,

2000 Sport Air Box
Hello, I'd say the airbox should have a paper filter in it, pop down to your local motor factors and buy one it can't be doing your engine much good . As for the maf if it has one it should be on the right hand side of the airbox little square balck unit inbetween the box and the intake pipe, Can you take a pic of your engine bay and post it up maybe one of our n/a owners will be able to see if anything's out of palce
