Brake advice on an sti please
On the 1st gen foz just about everything i've found or bought has been interchangable with the classic impreza apart from the backbox which is a different shape and brakes which require a wheel upgrade. What year is your car ? Someone should be able to shed some light on it with the same year impreza i guess. Another thing to try is have a look at catalogue numbers on the web for strut braces and what not see if they are the same for the two cars. Whiteline wanted a fifty quid premium on a brace for mine just cos it was in the forester section. Did some research and some people from here measured some bits for me and i bought a classic impreza one fitted perfectly and saved some cash :-)

Forester plastic rear bumper protector
Haha my folks bought a folding ramp for thier collie when he got to old to climb in. Looked a right tit as he hated it. I bet all the other dogs used to laugh at him. If i was taking him anywhere i'd just launch him in the back save him the indignity of using it

Forester plastic rear bumper protector
It geta quite a bit of hammer being low i thought i'd just lift stuff in and out but when putting shopping and what not in always rest on that bit before reaching into the depths of the boot. i recon it would be a worthwile investment if i still had a dog keeps the rear end looking fresh. dog + wet car is always a dangerous combo

Tarting the forester up a bit
Maybe your top mounts knocking common issue, whne mine was being serviced i mentoned the clunking sound coming from the n/s got told the droplinks were nearly new and it wasn't anything serious. Pair of group n tops will set you back about 85quid each off the bay. (Another thing on my list) I'd google a tinting firm. There's a place nearme that will do 4 windows for 100quid. (No good to us with five) i echo jay's comments the kits you get are pants and you'll always end up with at least one bubble you can't remove which will annoy you forever. Will set the car off and look good (i am biased though) plus keep the interior a bit cooler im the summer :-)

Forester plastic rear bumper protector
I'd have some cash available to get bumper re sprayed if you did. The laquer on mine isnt very thick and is peeling a bit where the bumper steps down slightly. Is it on a sg foz ? I was gollowing one the other day in town and saw it had the protector on thought it looked quite good. Was thinking if one would fit mine

Twitchy bum time ! Is that the vid with the interview ? If not He was saying it was due to the extra weight of the passenger on that run that compressed the car more !

What van you got ? Mines owned by company so it's driven harder than my own. We had a dispatch really torquey slightest wet conditions and it would loose traction. No tcs on it either. They were silly wide for a van to so i think they were nearly 150 a corner. We got it with 9000 miles on and was worst van i've ever had for relialibility. Wasn't right from tje start used to eat the n/s tyre for fun. Had everything changed and aligned but no fix

That's what i thought. Couldn't remember if it was doing it before i put it diag mode. Can't recalling it doing it after unplugging it. I've always wondered what speed you have to average to get caught. Even when doing a gps verified 50 lorries are going past at 56. Still does wonders for fuel consumption and i don't fancy getting a ticket trying

All levels were good was a 350 mile round trip so fluids were checked before and after. Maybe it's the o2 sensor wiring on way out or grounding. The only thing i dis with the gauges is cut a redundant swich out wire the the two ends together and solder a live feed in i was carefull not to mess too much with that . Only doing it when everythings got hot and been run for a while i'll don't want to change anything too swiftly

On way to collect some seats today, came on about an hour into my journey while sat at 50 literally blinked then went out happened again an hour later same thing. On return journey stopped for food plug diagnostic in to see what was up and no faults came up. Didn't happen at all on way back. Two months ago i got a reading of o2 sensor cleared it and never came back. Any ideas ?
