  2. Yorkshire dales & north yorks moors. Get up early enough and no ones around anyway :-D
  3. Thanks mate, it's pretty much the same size as a classic wagon Just sits about 6" higher, No idea what was going on with fuel light. It's only come on twice in a year and the needle has been sat on the stop. Set off and it went out then every time I stopped it would come on so when I got onto bypass booted it and it never came on again did a further 15 milea before filling up ?

    world cup !

Brilliant result for Chile this evening a shows what a team who want to win play like determined to the last. Misses has asked how come I get more animated for chile than england. I'm just resigned to the fact that england have been pants since 1966 and I doubt I'll see them lift the world cup in my life time. Haha
  5. Thats the only thing I want to change. But some times I'm glad of the extra clearance as the state of the roads is horrendous.
  6. Not the most flattering angle but it transforms the look of the car. Buy one, buy one buy one ! Whoever spec'd my car from new picked some good options I also have running boards which look good too
  7. Not sure I'll let somone with more knowleged answer that, do you have the sticker on the underside of the bonnet regarding timing ? I'm sure mine says 14 degrees but could be wrong [emoji52] as that could be for autos, if no ones answered by the morning i'll have a look Sent from my SM-T210
  8. Look like this ? If so I think it looks good sets the rear of the car off nicely, (biased) haha
  9. What does it look k like compared to the standard spoiler mate ? Sent from my SM-T210
  10. I use the autoglym fabric shampoo, have both the aerosol can and the stuff you add to water, that way I can get into all the nooks and crannies, it's a bit of a pain as the seats get quite damp so either do it when you don't have to drive the next day or sit them somewhere warm Sent from my SM-T210
  11. Cheers for the pics, looks like a right bit of kit, Has no4 not been firing ? Or do you think it's running a bit rich with the maf problem ? Sent from my SM-T210
  12. Hello & welcome, sorry to hear about your problems, it does seem steep to say the least ! You'd have expected them to change the lot at the same time if they know about the fault. There's not many diesel owners here but I'm sure someone will be able to help you out. And no need to apologise feel free to have a lok around and get involved we're all friendly bunch and beleive me no question is too trivial :-D
  13. Interesting news on the 9 pin adaptor, I take it being a garage you have an all singing all dancing diagnostic package, As a long shot bases on your findings I've just ordered a subaru 9 to 16 pin adaptor from the bay if it doesn't work with the cheap softwarer I have then no loss if it does, opens up a whole new avenue for classic owners. Thanks :-D
  14. Why not mate it's your car and will good to see, yes theres a build section which you can post everything up in there along with the pics :-D
  15. Went to drive home from work started up to this. Need to decide which one's lying , Fuel gauge roulette here I come !
  16. If it's had the airfilter and decat and no remap thas maybe why it's spiking. Could be the wastegate acutator thats sticking too. Fingers crossed it's an easy fix. Have you a boost gauge fitted ? Easy way to monitor whats happening
  17. Could be mate, somone else had the same problem on a hatch the other week. Has it been remaped at any point ?
  18. When you get the the fine grit stage tell her you need a womans touch as yours is too heavy wouldn'twant to damage all your hard work. Then leg it :-D
  19. Jonny, I feel your pain did a set of split rims once all in took nearly three days a wheel, never again im with gambit in paying for someone else to do them next next, still they do look good
  20. Ssshhh you'll spoil it for NBO. Just out of interest, Wheres the resistor located ?
  21. How much do you want to spend ? Normally fuel pump, injectors, turbo, map, Other things to take into consideration how much power do you want? Front mount intercooler, needed for more than 300bhp. More than 350 new box/clutch, bigger brakes etc the list is endless
  22. You paying for the code to be read mate ? I've a code reader you can borrow if you have an android phone ? Could be something simple like a sensor tripping the car into safe mode. Without the diagnostic I wouldn't like to say though
  23. MrB, know sadly a set of nice bbs will be way out of my price range, plus buying 2nd hand you never know how genuine they are so many copies around, my mate has a set on his golf and they look really good to be fair, Always liked the tsw's take me back to my youth haha,
