  1. The phone communicates fine with the headunit using bluetooth. The issue lies with the android os not being able to sync and import my contacts anymore when connecting through the usb as it automatically trys to put the phone into mass storage mode where as before you could just upload all contacts. I just have to dial through the phone instead. Whats more annoying is the fact i don't know who's calling now so cant screen my calls
  2. There goes my hope of being able to pick someones brains :-(
  3. I cant fault mine its just doing my head in that before i could dial up people from the headunit. Last time i installed the numbers i plugged the phone straight in but now won't recognise it Mine has ipod and usb conectivity. How do you load your contacts in ?
  4. Which bluetooth unit do you have ? I've got the kbt100 wich is obsolete now so theres no support and since the last android update i can't load my phonebook into the headunit. :-(
  5. The carrier? Bolts onto wishbones hub sits inside ? Gutted how long does the beating last at the mo ?
  6. At least you won't be living in fear of it collapsing now :O I've got the week off so i'll get it done at some point
  7. Old one in place. I think looks the same. Cars garaged so hopefully a 22 mm spanner will do i'll just double check whdn the old ones out
  8. The one thats in the csr is exactly the same part number and length of harness. I thought it was an after market part but searching around it seems that the older cars use bosch. It's also saying that bosch make parts for denso. The generic ones don't appear to have holes so i'm not bothered. It was mor the fact that the company i bought it from had re bagged it. Just got to find a crows foot to fit now. Or lambda socket
  9. Decided to bite the bullet and replace my sensor. After hunting around and phoning subaru i bought one off the web it claims to be a genuine part but from what i've read it should be a denso. Whats turned up is bosch. Slightly confused as googling the sensor brings up ones for about sixty quid. Only the end is different has a load of holes in where as the ones on web dont Feel slightly duped but have no idea
  10. Ebay had a couple last time i looked. Not sure what the differences are with your model but on the sf the hangers and length of the pipe are different. You can make the impreza ones fit but requires some welding
  11. Thats how it starts ! Slippery slope from there on in ;-)
  12. Looks good :-) Have you a list of goodies you want for her yet ?
  13. going from memory it depends on what your using it for the LS is limited slip diff oil specific, so just go with the normal stuff for the gearbox, i'd double check 1st though but i'm pretty sure, could try opie oils, he's on here for more advice and to see if he can get the shell stuff for you
  14. Like you say if the previous owner has done everything irrelivant of cost should be nothing to worry about. I was getting confused with the service schedual sorry, :O i have an older car anyway so could be different
  15. Whoop ! Glad you like it. When was the last mayor service done ? Should have been includes in that. I'd have a look see what condition the belt has done as they are supposed to be done every 40k i think. Mine has the same amount of mileage and i was told the belt had at least 20k left on it but with no record i wasn't going to chance it. When it came off the idler and pulleys looked ok as was genuine subaru belt. It's an expensive job but for piece of mind i'd get it checked
  16. It will be down in sheffield at sheffield subaru service. About 2 minutes drive from medowhall Bit of a trek from catterick. Maybe see if we can get a north yorks meet up for people around your area and york etc ?
  17. I changed my mk1 for the foz no matter how much i tried to convince the misses i wasn't allowed to stick the baby in the boot. Was gutted but i love the foz as it's discreet and fast. Not half as much fun but a lot safer in the wet. How does the rcz drive read good reviews of them but never come across anyone who has one
  18. Looks nice, good luck with the sale. Mk2 mx5 lurking in the garage ?
  19. I noticed that all the topics had gone from the tyres & wheels section too.
  20. I'm easy think i'm gonna have to shell out for a o2 sensor this month :-(
  21. Anyone decided on a solid date yet ? Need to book it with the misses !
  22. Hello, nice to see somone else on here from the great city ! I'll give you a wave if i come across you out and about. There's a yorkshire area meet thia month down in sheff.
  23. Hello, nice to see some more people from the yorkshire area here :-)
  24. I polly bushed the links and arb's on my mazda hardest thing was getting underneath to reach them on that. I love the way it's so easy to do work on the underside of the foz. I bought a cheap torque rench from manchine mart they do come in usefull. Keep mime in the car, doubles up for taking wheels off as i didnt have a brace
  25. From time to time mine throws up a random cel light. Can't work out why at the mo. If it's possible i'd like to try and clean the sensor and see what happens Did a basic maf unplug test and it stalled straight away (know it's not scientific shows its working at some capacity)
