2003 Forester Tyres
Re manual, i'm sure gambit will have one hidden somewhere. I'd always say just go with the best tyre you budget will allow as it's the only thing keeping you in contact with the road. I've been looking at the michilen and goodyear ones they aeem to have the best combination of all things

2003 Forester Tyres
Quite a lot of the forester ones seem to be a trade off between noise/ wet weather ability or noise/ economy. With it being a reinforced tyre it limits choice some what. At the end of the day there are 4 driven wheels so wet weather handling is better anyway. When i bought my foz it had two new budget on the rear and two nearly new budget on the front. I'll put something decent on next time round but i've not had any problems in the wet or off road so far see how they are in the snow. They also have a better score in the wet than some premium brands. Downside is noise and fuel economy

Turbo Timer
J As in it won't arm while running ? But if hand brake released the engine will cut and immobilser will kick in after 30 secs anyway ? My old hornet alarm had a tt function but i didn't have a turbo :-D have a viper one installed and it says in manual there is a passive arm that can be programmed in after 30secs may just speak to the chap who installed my old one and see what he says Is there much difference between the type 1 and type 2 hks timers ?

brake master cylinder stopper install
Thanks :-) 1st one i've done. After a couple days driving and you can tell the difference. The pedal doesn't feel as slack and soggy when pressed and i'd say it's worth the pennies. Wether the cusco cdf or other makes are worth the premium is hard to tell without trying each one

acceleration issue

Turbo Timer
Don't mean to hi jack the thread. Jow does this work with the alarm/immob ? I'm lookong at getting one purely cos i now live in a block of appartments. Car is parked in a secure garage and in the morning i want to warm it for 5 10 mins and go have a brew, have an aftermarket alarm and just wonder what are the complications ?

First 4x4
Hello, I've never had a 4x4 before either or anything turbo'd apart from my vans. Although my foz is a petrol and a bit older than yours i love it. Fuel economy isn't much different to my mx5. Comfort ride are a difderent level and the fact that's high enough to get off road occasionally but not to high that my misses struggles to get in is great and it handles like a car instead of a big suv.
