there are a set of four plugs under the dash (get on your knees with a torch) . two black two green all info should be here and the same for the foz http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/2366-manually-reading-ecu-codes-classic-shape-only/#entry11088

11th November South Yorkshire meet.
Yep off the leash ! There was a few people on the previous thread making noises about coming. Suppose it's the time of year and what not. Its a 70mile round trip for me so would likebit to be worth while if you understand what i mean ? Maybe if not enough people yo get martin to open up a pub meet would be more appealing ? I'll be comubg straight after work as traffic's terrible

Forester Soundproofing?
Nah mines an early car 97. My factory speakers were knackered and not very gooe anyway. It's a component system which i've changed for some normal 3 ways in the door. Not as bassy as i'd like but i wasn't gonna spend a fortune on speakers this time as i've got other things. Have you all the under bonnet insulation in place ? Quiet a lot of people seem to remove it to hear engine noise. I've no idea whats inside the doors as i'm not honna pull anything apart that doean't need it.

Forester Soundproofing?
Im surprised the first trip i did in mine was 230miles and the old man commented on how quiet and smooth the ride was. I have to say at motorway crusing speeds i thought the ride was quite civilised for a big arsed car. Do you have an afternarket exhaust ?

cheap mods
After a couple of days driving i can't beleive the difference the brace has made. I've always been a bit sceptical of them more for show and a placebo thing. But it has inceeased the stiffness and randomly it idles quieter. Maybe its stopped the enging from moving as much. Hopefully with a new pitch stopper it will feel like new

Operation DIY alloy painting
Good paint that can't beleive they sell it so cheap. Have you used any of it yet ? It will prob be quite thick, did you get any extra caps for different flow rates and what not ?

cheap mods
I know the guys at scooby parts were very helpfull looked up the white line braces in parts catalouge and conformed the impreza and foz bits were the same. Said it would be pointless getting one of them as there own ones would fit. Saved me loads of money, free delivery and areived in under 24 hours

Hopefully didn't have half the tools needed at work so i spent 3/4 of an hour with a 12mm spanner undoing and tightening back up as couldn't be arsed with a 15 mile round trip to get a socket ! I just did everything up tight by hand, couldn't find any specific torque values for it and the top mounts wern't murdered up anyway

Subaru Forester 2.0 X 5dr 2004 LPG/Duel Fuel 147000 miles ADVICE
Do you have a bank of three switches/blanking plates to the right of the steering wheel half way down the dash ? May be worth checking if the wiring harness is already there. My factory fogs are there along with the rear for addition for uk m.o.t

whats the stock turbo for 1997 subaru impreza wrx
Am i right in thinking there should be a build plaque on the side of the trubo somewhere denoting what it is ? I dunno what i've got in regards to the last letters no low down grunt for me mine starts to build around 2.7k then goes mental around 3-4k. Under normal town driving it never boosts. Only when driving like an idiot or over 80 on the m/way :-D
