cheap mods
to be fair the interior of a car has never really bothered me,as long as it's a decent and comfy wheel/seat combo what else dose one need ? i spend 90% of the time looking out the windscreen so if my passengers don't like it tough don't ask for a lift ! number one pet hate is other people adjusting the heating or asking me to wind window up, i'm driving so i need to be comfy, i've changed the gaiter on gear stick just looking out for a nice new nob :D that will fit and feel nice

South Yorkshire meeting 8th October
I'm a sorry i couldn't make it. After never attending anything with my previous owners club i promised myself i'd be more involved as it seems to be a younger bunch of people. But outside forces conspired against me. Still birthday next month so will be an excuse to get out if nowt else.

cheap mods
Haha, only place that needs a touch up is the n/s bumper scuff. The hail stone damage would be too costly to repair and hasn't broken the paint so it's all good. Think i'm going down the q car sleeper look. Does anyone know if the master cylinder stopper/booster for the impreza will fit mine ? Looks like it does but who can tell without getting hold of on

cheap mods
car will be going in for it's mot in the next week or so after that i'll be putting a little bit of cash into some goodies, obviously cash is going to be limited until paternity/maternity leave is over so depending on what the nice tester throws up no big things, till next year gonna start with a new pitch stop and brake master cylinder, then look at new roll bar droplinks and various polly bush bits as and when time & cash allow, any one got any pointers as to any more bits that don't cost the earth but will improve things ?

could we have some small ones that affix inside the window, (window stickers) the type you lick and stick ? i'd like to put something in the front screen but would rather have it inside

Regular drive or weekend car?
Last 4 months been used 2 out of 5 working days and weekends but i suspect it will get some hammer every day now the little one's arrived. After having a 2 seater for 4 years i'm loving the parcticality of a wagon again. Plus it's discret enough to be able to annoy just about anyone when the mood takes me. Not having a stainless exhaust on just adds to it as most people think its a family run around.

live in UK
Yorkshire moors and the dales have some fantastic driving roads beautiful views and nice people as has scotland but the weather is generally rubbish ;-) Up there (joking) I was born in the south west different scenery but just as nice they have the advantage of nicer beaches (grimsby just doesn't cut the mustard) and warmer weather Any other parts of the country i can offend ? Forgot the isle of man, great place very random and an addes bonus of being able to drive the tt course with no speed limits outside the built up areas

Gambit, Jay, Miggs....this is what the
I'd be worried about the sills and how far the tin worm has got into the inner sills. Maybe worth taking a look as it could bump the price of a fix even further. Gambit i wish i'd still kept the fail cert for my sunny that ran into 7 pages of the old style mot 90% of them being red in colour :O woild gave been good for a giggle. I'd be inclined to weigh up everything and see what your wallet and heart say

club decals
If it was stuck on your windscreen maybe people would scan it in passing, saw some bus stops the other day with one saying 'scan me' I was going to make a sticker version but the sign/graphic company near me said it wasn't really feasible to do just one so if anyone's up for it i'll look into seeing how much a minium run would be. And i thought i had a reasonable sized one sent it to print at work turned out to be 2 sheets of a4 oops back to drawing board

Anyone thought about qr code stickers ? Just a thought i had a go at downloading some qr code building software. Looks fairly straightforward put txt in and generates the code. Maybe generate more site traffic ?

It's only just dawned on me that you are talking about file sharing the user manuals/handbooks. I was begining to think all that oil you use for keeping your leather 'nightware' soft was making your head go funny with the fumes :-)

Why do wrx imports have the aerials on the roof ie bee sting
Do you have the band adaptor connected to the back of the head unit ? I may be wrong but when i put new radio in the eunos i had to attach a mw/lw band adaptor to pick up uk fm freq as the japanese don't pump out as much wattage when it comes to radio reception I may be talking absloute b******s as it was 4 yeas ago when i changed it

Ah ok i don't even have a youtube account. Besides i've just looked at the vid i took and it's rubbish as i've held th camera too close and all it sounds like is it clattering to death not a propper representation of the sound. Thanks to everyone on here and the advice i'm sure i'm just worring over nothing :O
