  2. @Rps I wouldn't be suprised if mine actually had an sti, the dirty cow.
  3. @Rps similar to me really. We've got an Astra gtc turbo which we use most of the time, and I only work a mile from home. The sti is just a toy/weekend car really but it's my dream car. Ever since I sold my wrx in 2010 I've been looking and dreaming of getting another impreza. Had to be an sti this time. Had to be wr blue. Had to be a blob or hawk. And i I know what you mean about loud exhausts, they can be a nightmare. The last few cars I've had I've thought we're too quiet, so put loud exhausts on then a month later your thinking ffs this things too loud. That's why with this one I'm fitting a deresonated centre and prodrive back box. Louder than stock with a nice burble but not unbearable when cruising around.
  4. Mine is, but I don't want to tar them all with the same brush. There might be some self respecting ones out there somewhere.
  5. Errrrrm.......no πŸ˜‚ The point I was trying to make is that for me, 320-340 ish bhp will be enough for me as it's used purely as a road car and I can't imagine I'd feel the need for more than that, given how fast the car already is now at standard power. Look out for the thread in 6 months time saying I'm bored of 320 and looking for 400 πŸ‘€πŸ˜‚
  6. Yeah, for me I think 320ish will be on the money. It's quick enough now to be fair but it would be a crime not to open it up a bit when it's so easily done on these cars.
  7. @Rps nice oneπŸ‘ Must be a scooby thing, I caught mine watching me the other morning

I told my wife I had a car made of spaghetti. She didn't believe me until she watched me drive pasta.

My girlfriend keeps accusing me of being a stalker. Well, she's not girlfriend yet πŸ‘€
  10. I know what you mean. When I got the sti 6 weeks ago it felt like a rocket! now it just feels normal but everything else I drive feels slow. I think 320-340 ish will keep me happy for a while though. It's a pretty dangerous game when you can go from 0-speed limit in 4 seconds πŸŽπŸ’¨

  12. Were did you get that pic of @mattiekane from?
  13. I like the hawk scoop. It's small and does the job, much like my manhood. I agree with the colour, gotta be wr blue every time for me 😎
  14. Thanks. I've read that before and found it useful and I've also been in contact with Duncan recently. I had a bugeye wrx between 2006 and 2010 that I spent a small fortune on and Duncan live mapped that for me after I'd fitted a td05 16g among many other bits. It was an animal once he'd finished. The closest he can get to me now is roger Clarke motorsport on a Wednesday, so I'll either do that or scooby clinic. Undecided yet. Pic of my old wrx for no valid reason:

  17. Mad how we have the same favorite number
  18. Everyone bangs on about German interiors, but personally I find them solid but a bit boring and bland. Absolutely love my rattley old sti interior, it's got character 😎 Sorry for the completely random thread πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ just thought I'd share that for no reason.
  19. You move fast mate! Quick progress there. I need coilovers after reading this πŸ˜‚ Car looks a beauty😎
  20. 2 nice looking cars there πŸ‘ Whats the fromt splitter on the sti? Quite fancy one for mine 😎
  21. Yeah the prodrive back box is quiet. It's a touch louder than the standard sti one it replaced up in the higher revs. I bought a completely standard car and my original plan was to keep it stock. After having the car a week, I realised that wasn't going to happen. Plans are: cosworth panel filter-done prodrive back box-done import size number plates-done Straight through centre section upgraded fuel pump remap by reputable mapper coilovers (with geo set up) beyond that I'm not sure, probably just keeping on top of maintenance although I'll probably add more to list as I tick bits off. I want to keep it looking fairly standard (just lower with the coilovers) but would like at least 320bhp πŸ‘
  22. Welcome!
  23. Thanks, yeah I've heard a lot of good things about the rainsports. Deffo gonna give them a go next time round.
  24. My scoob had a full set of decent bridgestones on when I bought it and they seem decent in all weathers. I've had toyos on a few cars in the past and rate them highly, but the side walls are very soft. I think I'm going to try uniroyal rsinsports next cos it's always raining β˜”οΈ
