Check car for undersealing Inside boot under carpet for rust or ripples Ripples would mean it’s been rear ended They are prone to rusting under wheel arches unfortunately they have a rubber strip around all arches it retains moisture eventually causing rust spots Check it has good clutch and brakes Check for along top of window for rust blisters Check that boot lid doesn’t leak when it’s been raining If it’s been modified that it’s a reputable tuner and all mods are done professionally Gearbox should be tight and not notchy Check that the obd light doesn’t come on Easiest way is to check is three engine start ups with few minutes running at each time If not within 80 miles This is all dependant on age of course Maybe I’ve missed a few points I’m sure the guys will fill in Cheers and happy hunting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Vin number should be on your v5c paperwork or if you look on the passenger side of your car from the outside in it should be in a rectangle block between dashboard and windscreen

  11. Possibly sounds like broken gearbox/ cog teeth broken spinning in casement when engine is on and possibly not locating into slot Only a suggestion ?
  12. Technically the mr2 should have beaten you in the dry as it’s lighter prob better matched in the wet with the 4wd Scooby and rwd mr2 mr2 is around 240bhp standard and wrx is around 227bhp standard

    Mind if you are buying from subispeed that they will be lhd setup for the headlights and not suitable for uk rear lights are awesome subispeed have great delivery times to the uk i do however find that they over charge for this try and get from the jdm

  18. I wouldn’t recommend any cover to go over a car it holds in the moisture if you don’t have a garage I would let it breathe the elements that’s just my opinion

  20. Have you had the tyres checked for leaks/punctures have you set the tpms to the correct pressure
  21. You could always go to your local dealership and buy from them then you know it’s suitable
  22. I order from frsport.com they have the Subaru long life I believe it’s on offer at moment
  23. hows it going have you checked the crank sensor it may well not be that but its worth a check perhaps also possibly worth checking maf sensor it may or may not be linked to pump but also worth a check
  24. I mean before the problem arose or the motors themselves need to be in a certain sequence for the movement to rotate correctly when fitted as when they are loose it will just spin as it should
