What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Fitted a haywood & Scott 4inch back box that I picked up second hand ( seized bolts!) Polished the granny out of it before fitting and wrapped the pipe with mint green heat wrap.it had a bung welded in it, so that had to goooooo.and it did. So now I've got a spare haywood & Scott 3 inch back box!

KENT SUBARU MEET SUMMER BBQ
Yeah totally a good idea, goto to be more scoobys in the Kent area.i don't even live there any more but I'm going( I'm such a legend!) Gambit You know I'm a cross dresser..... Had to pick my misses up from the train station Saturday night, so I thought " I know I'll dress up for a laugh" so Aimi opens the car door and there I am in a full blown wonder women outfit. Lets say she looked a bit uneasy like I was have some sort a mental issue which made it even funnier. I don't think she gets me sometimes....

Legacy GTB estate? possible new owner
Hello mate, mileage is nice and low. I'm not sure when the first cambelt change is due (tiag will know) how much is he asking for it? Regarding the bits needing doing your find them easy enough on ebay or "Japanese import cars"web site. The only thing I see you picking up second hand is the cross pipe between the manifolds, what's wrong with the pipe?is it rusted away or damaged .if its been damaged you may want to check around that area. A tow bar on a gtb no no no .........only joking mate,if you wanna tow caravans at 150mph plus I'm cool with that

Mine don't leak in the summer :/

bit of advice please
I can't see the decat adding to the problem but I would sort this problem out first. It might be worth checking the plug gap and condition if they've not been changed in a while

Ha ha your funny Diz, I was going to add a bit about wheel spinning helps just not in reverse but I won't:) . On my way to work I was behind the same model and colour as yours,I was going to run him down and nic his rear end ( not in a sexual way you understand, plus I'm on emergency lube levels) but I've goto stick to the speed limits as my van is trackered and I had over 60 offences last month.you should see the tail backs I get when in the 25 mph speed zone, its painful. Ps) were all old,ive got the whole box set of he-man ( he was defo !Removed! but what a body! )

cambelt kit
That's cool, mate you've got the right train of thought.i'e when you've got it all stripped out you may as well do it all, saves you going back in there in the near future.i also changed auxiliary belts on mine and oil/ filter change due to changing the seal.

cambelt kit
Importcar have a load of stuff but they won't deliver to me ? I even emailed them and they messed me around. I think it's coz I'm southern.......

cambelt kit
Kit looks fine mate.when I done mine, the subaru place ( subaru 4u ) where I got It from.said you don't need anything heavy duty unless your going over 400 bhp, obviously I got a standard kit.i changed my oil seal (one behind the pulley wheel) as their known to leak and i had one! my thermostat ( for a couple of quid you may as well) and all the pulley wheels/ tensioner.I say "all" as I've heard of people just doing the belt which doesn't make sense to me. anyway I also changed the oil cooler crossover pipe as mine was rusty, so give it a good inspection.hope this helps mate. What's up with your water pump?
