  1. Bearings can be intermittent with making the squealing noise when their on their way out until they get really bad.the bearing is running dry so the more it heats up the more chance of hearing it so you may not notice it on short runs so much.I've got two wheel bearings that have just started doing the same. Think the clutch bearing is called the" thrust bearing" gambit is right, about changing the clutch but until you get it out you won't know how much meat is left on it. C
  2. You could put a small mouse inside the covers with a small mop and bucket to keep the inside clean, of course we'd give the mouse hi viz and hard hat I'm not stupid, don't think screw fix have them in stock though
  3. Fitted a haywood & Scott 4inch back box that I picked up second hand ( seized bolts!) Polished the granny out of it before fitting and wrapped the pipe with mint green heat wrap.it had a bung welded in it, so that had to goooooo.and it did. So now I've got a spare haywood & Scott 3 inch back box!
  4. Yeah totally a good idea, goto to be more scoobys in the Kent area.i don't even live there any more but I'm going( I'm such a legend!) Gambit You know I'm a cross dresser..... Had to pick my misses up from the train station Saturday night, so I thought " I know I'll dress up for a laugh" so Aimi opens the car door and there I am in a full blown wonder women outfit. Lets say she looked a bit uneasy like I was have some sort a mental issue which made it even funnier. I don't think she gets me sometimes....

  10. Hello mate, mileage is nice and low. I'm not sure when the first cambelt change is due (tiag will know) how much is he asking for it? Regarding the bits needing doing your find them easy enough on ebay or "Japanese import cars"web site. The only thing I see you picking up second hand is the cross pipe between the manifolds, what's wrong with the pipe?is it rusted away or damaged .if its been damaged you may want to check around that area.
