Hi, I have looked at buying an Impreza for many years, but as I only have residents off road parking, I was wary of buying a saloon as it would attract the wrong kind of attention and previous cars (Audi A6 & BMW 530i) had been keyed. Anyway, I had passed a red wagon WRX a couple of times and stopped to look at it, it was in mint unmolested condition, I loved it! And bought it the next week, despite having 2 other cars. This was back in April this year, I have fitted a K&N Typhoon induction kit, a front splitter, the mirrors were the only marked parts on the car so I fitted grey carbon covers. The brakes were pants so, I fitted slotted EBC Ultimax discs with yellowstuff pads. The body is amazing for its age, no rust or any stand out scuffs at all. Interior is unmarked, except for the usual drivers bolster! Looking at s/h prodrive wagon seats, I put in a double din head unit, the previous owner had kindly left a Parrott 9200i in the car! I absolutely love it! I'm after a turbo back full system, Mongoose any good? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Welcome ;)
You look like a very good owner. Keep going on this way.
Mongoose exhausts are fine (Good quality). Have a look on Apexi, HKS, Prodrive, Kakimoto,Invidia,Greddy just to name a few big brand. Here is the list if you want some different.
I have a prodrive system. It can be loud at high rev but absolutely liveable.

I don't recommend anything above Buddyclub (I had a spec2 and it was extremly loud over 120dB) as they probably illegal to use in UK.

I had a cobra one made with twin resonators in the centre.

Static db is about 96. Sounds nice and above 2.5k it really gets going not to droney on motorways either

Theres always powerflow and somone else who will make them up for you.

Thanks so much to you all! I absolutely love the car, its such fun to drive and I love the noise, its so "Get out of my way" I'm going to sell my Smart Brabus to fund further spending on it! I have just ordered front and rear strut braces, they are cars that you can spend on, but appreciate the difference too! zimotorsport in Wrexham are not far away and are also close to Demon Tweeks, so Ill take a trip up there also. Thank you all!!

Thanks, I paid £3,250 cash, they were asking £3,500 it was a P/x at a place called Junction Autopark in Llandudno Junction, North Wales, They specialise in 4x4 and higher end cars and would normally send to auction, but it was in such good nick they decided to sell it themselves. it had done 94K though, but absolutely stock, it also had new tyres all round and 12 months MOT. I spent £660 on brakes and pads, and another £1k on bits and bobs, and plan to spend more on it, rear tints, full turbo back system, remap, cambelt kit, its worth it as its a very sound car. Good Luck, there are lots out there!!   :)
