Mr B Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 unfortunately yes it is :-D Would be good if they revised the law on front plate size a little
ChrisD Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 I am pretty sure that... "Sorry officer, it must have shrunk in the car wash" will get any policeman to over see you breaking the law :) (Please don't quote me on that haha)
stants Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Just get one made as small as the law allows. Had this on mine for 3 years never got stopped once, if the anpr camers can read them you shouldn't have a problem

Xander Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Just get one made as small as the law allows. Had this on mine for 3 years never got stopped once, if the anpr camers can read them you shouldn't have a problem Where did you get that made? I was going to get a 12x6 for mine as I know you can fit legal spacing on it but its split over 2 lines and I would like it to be on one. I am also planning to get a 5 character private plate so I can make a smaller one line plate. Thanks Alex
stants Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Mot tester failed me on it though as he was testing as a mx5 not an import. Divvy, I even took what ven has cut and pasted to him, plus the v5 and import docs. Asked me if I thought I knew the law better than he did. I said obviously I did took it to another testing station flew through on the same plate [emoji51] which reminds me I may go for another small oblong plate if it fits, not a fan of my square one at the front
