July 2, 201510 yr So did everyone get the storm? Got it here in Blackpool/Lancaster area and it was crazy! Kept me awake until the early hours. Tornado warnings got issued as well for Birmingham and Newcastle as the storm turn supercell.

July 2, 201510 yr Author You've got to be kidding, it was mental up north! Like the world was ending or something, Newcastle got hailstones 50mm in diameter that punched holes in conservatory roofs :O

July 2, 201510 yr nothing on teesside, I could see the lightning in the distance but too far away to even hear the thunder around midnight last night
July 3, 201510 yr wasn't much around here either, a few mates said they heard thunder but I never heard a thing it rained a bit too, but no where near as much as I was expecting

July 6, 201510 yr My old Spaniel used to go mental, when there was thunder about, but loved to go out and watch fireworks!!!! My Lab did not even stir, during the recent storm - must be the gun dog genes. I expect she will hate fireworks, just to prove she is a dog.
