Nice I likey [emoji14]I fancy doing this as i don't like them sat on top and pillar clusters just look Chavy imho but I've been looking into a greddy informeter. but by time you've bout all the adaptors for boost and oil pressure and temp it works out very expensive ..was it difficult to remove the cluster ? What size dials you got ..

@Jay762 thats link to the foglight https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/42718 ,you could use any foglight really that you like, would just have to make the housing for it to go in.

it says....

Product Information

ONLY for Liberal rear diffuser (004-046-005 or 004-046-006) equip model. Nissan OEM rear foglight with Liberal LED valve. Switch is NOT included (NOT for sale).

did you buy that as well?

importing from japanparts, you have import duty/vat and parcel force handling charge to pay on to.

if you go onto HMRC website and search COMMODITY codes, you can then find out the import duty % rate you'll pay fo rth goods you import. Make sure you ahve the correct commodity code on the packaging so you get charged correctly and not someone guessing a % rate that could be wring and too high.

My rear R205 defuser worked out at 3.5%

but 20% vat gets added etc as well :(

Also I just bought from Japan parts and parcel force added a £13 handling charge too

@kershaw-330sthe surround just clips in,just lower your steering as far as it goes then grab the bottom of the surround and pull it will pop out,i was going to use 52mm gauges but could not position them so they did not obstruct seeing the gauges behind,so i used 42mm gauges now i can still see all the temp gauge and speedo.

Ouch man my spitter was broken in the exact same place. I made a plate up to hold it together and no one notices unless I point it out.

Sorry about the head going but the important question here is how you get over 33mpg?

well after lots of thinking its the end of the road for me and my hatch, was just going to take too much to sort and too long as well, after much advice from machanic's i was told lots of things, like hmm 2.5 engine is made of cardboard,2.5 is as reliable as having choclate digestives as break disks lol i thought that was funny,so after much sadness me and the mrs decided to let him go,i miss him allready but meet new member of the family

Swap for blobeye needed a car for work.did not have 10 grand to do engine to make it reliable, was told 2.5 only eny good if you drive steady n dont give it any stress even spendin thousands they can still go and i just couldnt afford that n it blow up again,so back to trust 2.0 for now anyway.

Was going to see if you had any hatch parts kicking about. But looks like a nice new car.

I think the blob the one I would get if I was to change. I was lucky with my Hatch when it died subaru had it under warranty so they had to pay the bill. Got any plans for it yet?

Tis a sad state subaru have got themselves into :( the bad news is even the new one still has the same crappy engine, there onto revision 4 or summit and all they have changed is the liner grooves :(

Mind you build it right and the 2.5 is a cracking engine.

whast the plans for the new one chap?

Everything on the wrx hatch engine is diffrent to the blob.its not just hatch wrx engine these machanics told me hawkeye are same.1 machanic showed me at his garage.their was a hatch 330s on lift with engine out.and a sti hatch with head gasket n other stuff wrong n my wrx.he said the worse engine is in jdm hawkeye sti.i have my clear fog light n fog light for rear diffuser if your interested.think thats all i have.

@Xander its the wrx, only mods is a decated 3" stainless exhaust for now  it feels a lot quicker then my hatch was. @kershaw-330s it was a subaru specialist and a good one at that, that told me worse 2.5 is JDM hawk so i would belive him.

Nice I haven't been out in a 2.0L but if it's decatted and mapped I would have thought it would have more power than the hatch. still a nice car and glad your happy with it.
