Subaru etiquette (sir, how do you do?)

So I was just out and about an hour or so ago and stopped at some pedestrian lights. Stopped facing me on the other side of the lights was another Subaru (possibly a Forester). When the lights changed, the guy kind of waved at me. Is there a Subaru driver "thing" like MG drivers have?

Yes, Lot of subaru people will wave that said its mostly the perforce guys that do it. I must admit I am not a waver unless I know the person.

Yeah quite common to be waved at or flashed at by other Subaru's. I do it when I spot them or hear them. Whichever is first.

Had it more in the STI not having the the scoop makes it more low profile but do still acknowledge them myself though

I wave at imprezas mainly, or import Foresters... in my area, UK foresters are driven by older men... no offence Stants :D
