Go for a forester sti  Or if you want the sensible alternative... the BMW.

Gc8 chassis, 6 speed and forged engine with a nice Vf43 some pops and bangs and ull never be bored cause you won't mind adding parts to it for banter :)

Sounds like you want something economic as all your option bar the sti are desils...... i would be looking the bmw 123d msport 😉 2litre twin turbo 204bhp out the box and with remap 260bhp and 400nm 👌👌

Onthe other hand sti forged will always stick a smile on your face though

my 530d was remapped to 300bhp and 700nm, pulled like hell, super comfy, 28 ish round town 35-42 on the motorway. would highly recommend

You won't find any comfort in the Evo I was looking at evo's before the Scoob I like them but not comfortable at all. Seats even felt to small for me  

They rot , they are expensive to run and have major issues with the fancy gearbox

Was one on eBay for 5500 last week and a nice bug Sti wagon for 5

I cant stand the look of a bug eye nor do i like wagons lol

Paid £7k for mine back in June, they are out there 😁
