Hi all

So, I love my scooby, but I can't put my finger on why. I had a 1999 Impreza 2.0L sport a few years ago and loved it. I never treated it well. Very few services etc, but it never let me down. Always got me home. It eventually ended up with the dreaded tin rot. So after a couple of year with some crappy cars I finally had the money to get a turbo Impreza. I now have a 2005 WRX. And love it. It may not be the fastest car on the road, but it's pretty quick, but I can't seem to pin down why I love it so much, so though I'd see if any of your reasons why ring true for mine.

Thanks

The look, the sound, how it drives, the power (bear in mind i'm not running standard power anymore haha)

The unmistakable sound of unequal length headers, and being able to beat the majority of cars off the line :D

The reliability, the sound and the envious looks you get from other men who don't own one...I swear it is every single time I drive it

Agree with all that. Love the sound, the speed, and reliability, but for me there is something else that I can't explain. And my scooby is the only car that I actually want to do as much of the mechanical work myself, that I can't explain why. Usually it's 'let the garage do it' now it's 'I'll do it' lol
