February 14, 20178 yr I suspect the ebay ones will be inferior in EVERY way. Build quality, comfort, reliability etc... You get what you pay for. I think the average price for a good set of coilovers is around the 600 mark
February 14, 20178 yr I wouldn't know from a technical point how they differ, but I agree with sandals. I'm a firm believer that 'you get what you pay for' and 'buy cheap, buy twice!'

February 15, 20178 yr As above if you are doing most of your driving on the road go for uprated shocks and springs.

February 15, 20178 yr - you could get adjustable damping if spent a little more on the struts, that will make a difference on the roads as when on the hardest setting they can be very firm

February 15, 20178 yr had cheap coilovers on a old vectra gsi was a nightmare!!! they are cheap for a reason Decent set up all day long! KYB shocks are the kiddies i have them
