Can anyone suggest anyone with a good reputation for remapping preferably in the north west area as I will have to bring the car back to the uk and that in itself costs a fortune lol 

I would take it to a reputable specialist given the issues your having. Some mappers would just fob you off if something is mechanically not right and given your coming over the water then you need any issues sorted.

Scoobyclinic are based at chesterfield which will be a bit of a drive, but well worth it IMO.

scoobyclinic have quite a few nightmare stories which can be seen in online reviews which was enough to put me off planning taking my car there, if your coming from the isle I'd go the extra mile and go to andy forrest for the mapping, he is probably one of the most experienced and would be able to give you some good advice on any of your other issues before hand if it could hinder the mapping

I'm yet to read any that havn't got alot more behind them than described. There only human so mistakes do happen, but pick up a phone and they will put it right.

Always two sides to every story. We don't always get to here them though. I've never heard of any problems with clinics mapping. Just be careful about extra work they might try to create and don't leave your car alone with them.

 

 

Just go roger Clark or get Andy forest to do it , I wouldn't go clinic unless you have extra cash for parts you don't need lol

ScoobyClinic have mapped mine twice and both times theyve been very professional and gone out there way to cater for exactly what i want i feel that everyones going to have there preferred garage but from all the work ive had done which is quite alot.I have 0 complaints the always look after me and even make me fancy coffee and i like coffee ☕

Andy Forrest you may have to wait to get some time with him as he tends to be very busy.
