CboatsTerzo327 40 Report post Posted October 20, 2018 Hi all, I purchased Terzo 327 about a year ago as I had always dreamed of owning an Impreza as a boy. I currently have her off the road and am undertaking some major work to restore it to its former glory. If anyone has any past history of the car please share it with me and I will be putting up progress pictures as I go. Thanks
Tidgy 749 Report post Posted October 20, 2018 good to see one being pulled back from the brink. Also a good example of how the arch rust is alot worse below the surface compared to what you can see

CboatsTerzo327 40 Report post Posted June 6 Hi guys just a wee update on how things are coming along. Car totally stripped now and all welding now done. New own front wings prime red along with spoiler, all trim and new front splitter ready to be aligned next week then into the paint shop. Car is then booked in for a full custom made de-cat stainless system with an uneven snakehead. Taken me the best part of a year to get to this point and I must admit I cannot wait to get it back on the road. Still looking for any previous history/owners so if anyone out there knows the car I would love to hear from yous.

CboatsTerzo327 40 Report post Posted June 8 Does anyone know where I can get a pair of stone chip protectors for the car? Can’t find them anywhere and any help would be appreciated.
savage bulldogs 2,506 Report post Posted June 8 Always nice to see a scooby getting some TLC, instead of being scrapped . Nice work ,fella 👍 As far as the stone guards go I'm fairly sure they're only a UK or euro thing . Have you tried speaking to Luke at import car parts? As even if he hasn't got them in stock or listed on his website, he might be able to order some in.

Thanks bro, could have took the easy route and went for an import but I much prefer the build not bought approach. There’s a lot of joy to be had in seeing a car taking shape through your own hard work. There will come a point where people will be kicking themselves for letting these classics go to pot. I think there’s a bit more prestige in saving a uk model than going down the jap route. Do you think the stone guards are needed?
savage bulldogs 2,506 Report post Posted June 8 I much prefer the built not bought route ,myself too 😊 Will admit my v3 UK got scrapped due to tin worm and I re shelled my mechanicals into a clean 94 jdm sti . But I either used the rare v1 sti shell or that would've gone to the scrappy instead . There's certainly a shortage of early classics and UK cars over here , so glad you've saved her . As for the stone guards, Jdms don't have them or the holes in the arch "dog leg " for them to fit too . So I'm sure you'll be fine without them , unless you drive on a lot of gravel lol

stuartie 190 Report post Posted June 10 Looking good mate so good to see another classic being brought back from the brink 👍 especially as everyone and their dog is breaking them, my arches have gone aswell so this year I'll be cutting them out and welding in new panels then off to paint shop for a full spray over keeping the same colour

Thought I could see the end in sight but now I’ve been told my fuel lines are corroded and needing replaced. Tank out so I’d be aswell putting a wall to fuel pump on is when it’s out.....where does it stop 🙈
