Hi im Rick from Manchester I pick up the Subaru forester on Saturday.Its a w reg 2 litre turbo s.Any idea on the factory power out put

Welcome to the club. After a bit of googling best I can come up with is 177 bhp.

Pretty sure one of the Fozzie owners will have the right figure.

And seen some really nice ones tuned so I would say yeah they are very good even if they do look massive we have some members on here with some stunning looking Fozzies :)

Cheers mate.Its gots some little things that need sorting out cosmeticly but we got it cheap.Can the turbo be upgraded to the td05 family with the injectors and other parts to make it work

Oh my bad non turbo. No you will be better off trying to get less weight and look at brakes suspension that sort of thing to get the best out of it I'm afraid.

In his first post he said it IS turbo. There should be some mods around, not sure about the ECU though

It is the turbo version lol.is it the non turbo that has the 177bhp then? Mine is a W reg forrester 2.0

If it's a turbo version I'd have thought it would be based on a uk classic which has 215 to 220 depending on year .

Tbo stanton would have a better idea of which impreza bits fit the foz [emoji6]

With a Pannel filter , sports cat and a remap then you should see 260/270 .

the foz that gambit posted is the sti/stb variant. they are about 330bhp as standard B)

Mine isn't 300bhp that's for sure lol.It does goes well and handles like !Removed! lol.Just ordered a second hand indicator lens for it as the front is missing from it showing the bulb.The lens on the front fog is missing and I need a washer jet for the front bumper.Some idiot has put to much oil in the engine as well  Not sure what the tyre pressures are surposed to be on the fozi either.There 16inch with big tyres lol

Download an app called "mycarcheck" slap your reg in and it might tell you the rough bhp of your motor :) not sure how accurate the app is tho

All it told me was the reg and that it was 4wd lol.I have the ej20 engine if that makes any sence.

Ah sometimes it tells the bhp sometimes it doesn't try googling the specs of the vehicle? Probably have as everyone turns to google lol

Have you had a look at the side of the TMIC see if it has a heat shield for the turbo ?

Yes mate there is so many models of engine its silly lol.After another look in the hand book that come with the car it says I have the EJ205 and the internet says that's the WRX engine
