February 22, 201510 yr Seen one of these fly over my house, live not far from Cosford and they had the air show. Also we were walking and a Lancaster flew over unexpectedly, that thing really makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
February 22, 201510 yr I see the lanc flying last year when it was doing the air show at Clacton. It had a hurricane and spitfire escorting it. Love this planes. Only two left in the world air worthy.

Yeah, I've seen them at air shows, but when your out for a walk and you can here the rumble and then this thing comes over the trees at about a hundred feet it's pretty spectacular, they didn't have the hurricane or spitfire when we saw it. Me and the wife are off to the Mach loop this year, mainly for me to photograph the aircraft. here's a couple of minutes of F15s and you'll see why I want to photograph there
February 22, 201510 yr Oh I didn't explain that to well. I wasn't at the air show. It was on its way to clacton. Got the same feel. I got some pics but only on my phone.
February 23, 201510 yr See loads of stuff flying where I live from f16 f14s f15s euro fighter apache helicopter to the red arrows donna nook is just down the road. Had the Lancaster and the vulcan flying round last year. It's a bit mad when you're sat in tyhe garden and they fly over randomly.
February 23, 201510 yr Had a merlin as well flying really low but by the time I'd got the camera out it had flown off. See the red arrows a lot too but they're based not to far from me. The C130 come over doing flybys dropping flares. I knpw as a kid when I used to come out this way the A10 and the tornados used to keep me amazed for hour's especially with the live rounds practice but they don't do that anymore [emoji22]
