whats the stock turbo for 1997 subaru impreza wrx
Miggs replied to kevstep0's topic in General Subaru Chat
my turbo has the number embossed onto the casting, not sure if the VF's have it the same way -
i have my turbo timer on the voltage screen at all times so i can monitor the state of charge, i did once have a brand new battery go flat over 24 hours, turned out to be the new amp i fitted, the remote wire for the amp was earthing on the bulkhead when the stereo was pushed into it's cage, this left the amp on over night and caused a drain, just a possibility, if your alarm is the sigma unit there is a thread on the forum with the details of how to input codes for various things

is there an indication light on the scanner tool to say if it's getting power? my obd cable has a blue light on to say it's receiving, as the power comes from the socket in the car and you've tried 2 tools on it and neither work i wonder if it's a problem with the socket

Welcome aboard bud, I'm sure anythings possible, if you don't mind me asking, do you have zero use of your legs? I only as as a mate of mine, sadly now gone, he had a massive accident on an autobahn and lost his right leg, he loved vw's and was adamant he was going to get a mk2 golf gti, they only come in manual and as it's a hot hatch the gearing would have been different in a box from something else, he managed to get it converted to hand controls for accelerate and brake, same lever on the wheel with a push pull feature, would it not be possible to do this for your situation, might be easier

Things is too, with the first galaxy from Samsung you can still get apps on it that will work, an iPhone 3 is only use full as a music device now as all the apps are gone from the app store and the software is out dated forcing you to get a newer one, and my biggest bug bear was the freezing, the iPhone used to freeze up about once a week and there was nothing I could do but wait it out, with other phones you can remove the battery, and in my ownership of a single iPhone I got more freezing up than with all the Android devices I have or had combined -
I took the bulbs out of my clocks and removed the green rubber caps off the bulb, makes the dash a lot brighter now, I have the clocks before yours with fuel and water one the left and right corners
-

I've had the car as a daily runner since Xmas last year the guy I got it off had it a few weeks of his mate before he got an insurance quote, before that his mate had it for 4 years, 3 of which it was running as it is now, I'm not to bothered about the car, if it fails it gives me scope to get a white saloon I've been wanting for some time, if it keeps going until I have some decent money coming in I was going to get a cdb and build that to a custom spec then paint the wagon white and fit the new engine and bits

It's alright, they don't even see it in the window, been pulled before and told I was displaying it incorrectly, I have it at the top of the windscreen in the centre and upside down, after I argued and told him it doesn't state where in the window it's to be displayed or which way he went over the entire car with a fine tooth comb eventually giving up as I just made everything into a lesson on his job lol
