  1. Change all your battery's too the should be done once a year really ,, it's even worse with keyless start Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  2. Where from? Been trying to find OEM Hawk STI mats for ages... I got a Haynes manual off my sister! [emoji4][emoji1303] And I got a little JDM red hazard light for myself [emoji23] Came in today's post! Haha I got them from scooby world they do loads of different colours and styles Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  3. I'm not positive but I think the wrx is available for the British market Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  4. Nice bit of kit ;) . Any feed back on this ? I've been thinking about getting one as its ment to firm up the brake feel nicely . Also its supposed to stop it ripping it's self of the bulkhead which I believe is a common issue with the Impreza especially with hard track use Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  5. Any proper garage / builder would do this for you anyway As for oil starvation a snapped oil pick up is much more likely than a seized pump unless you dropped all your oil somewhere Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  6. Finally got some proper Subaru / sti mats for my car , finally can take out the 350z mats haha it's only been 3years lol Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  7. Ive already got my headers and down pipe wrapped in RCM magma heat wrap wouldn't mind a turbo blanket tho Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  8. I always drive mine in sport then sport # when giving it some I mode is rubbish imo you feel so disconnected from the car. Now I've got the ecutek soft wear on the car I now use the si drive to switch between maps much easier than playing around with the cruse control , just a quick twist and it's done much better. S mode 360 hp then s# I get full power and flat shift. That's the advantage of the throttle by wire Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  9. That's a good idea before when I've had a K.n drop in it did come oiled this was over 5years ago tho , Also thought that a filter like k.n had to be oiled to work effectively?? Look on the scooby world site they have a wide selection . Of dry drop ins e.g hks, piper cross , cosworth and others Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  10. Just out of interest why a 10-40 over a 5-40 ? Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  11. This is what I got for my bday this year, from the Mrs at the time Not quite but she got a ten out of ten for effort Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  12. can do anything :) Although they outsource their machining work. so I find it unlikely they would do the build them self just outsource it and take a cut so really your paying twice just for the privilege Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  13. I would just go for the simple mods first and get a good map by a good tuner you would be surprised the difference to the driving experience just a map can make , it's not all about figures it's about power delivery and driving experience. You could quite easily have a 280 bhp set up really well , be quicker and nicer to drive than a 300 bhp car that is not tuned so well Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  14. Who did the work for you? Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  15. Also on the wrx you are slightly limited by the strength of the 5speed gearbox Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  16. I've seen that kit online and I've always wondered why so big on the front did put me off that kit, most others are bigger rear or same size alround :/ Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  17. Like that interior very vip Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  18. I personally have never heard of them Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  19. Engine tuner built ej257 bottom end ( check my build thread for full spec) standard refurbished sti hatch dual avcs heads . RCM unequal length headers , RCM up pipe , RCM 3" down pipe with decat , standard centre pipe with prodrive 330s back box , cosworth drop in filter , Perrin intake pipe , engine tuner spec Gtx2871 mamba turbo with 650cc injectors and mapped on ecutek software Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  20. What diameter arbs did you go for ? Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  21. Could be the heads indeed, I'm not sure on the exact specs of the turbo in mine to see how it compares to yours, just didnt expect such a difference between the two. When I had mine mapped I was restricted buy the intercooler to 1.5bar and he struggled to get consistent pulls out of it , because after 5k the stock intercooler was basically useless at that level of tune lol mj said once I get a bigger cooler take it back and he can put some more ignition into it and should easily see 400hp . I've now got the mishimoto tmic on their I want to get a few more things like a short ram and maybe a cat back , a 3 port boost control solenoid and uprated recirc. Was hopping to go up in January , but just found out i need new brakes alround and a few bushes , prob be Feb by the time it gets done . should be a more fair comparison, as you have got a few more mods than me. That is big torque for 400hp tho in a light type r body too you need to think about some wider rubber ;) Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  22. Your running syvecs and oversized valves that could explain the huge torque interested to see what boost you're running, boost makes torque ;) Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks for that I've checked out their site and I think I'm going to order tomorrow saved myself a few hundred too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Could always put the oe scoop back on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Mishimoto x line is very popular and comes with a lifetime warranty . Sent from my Nokia 3310 using Tapatalk
