They were pretty much first on mine. I did a couple in expert mode and had a comfortable if not huge lead, but Sebring he was off, and no matter what I did he just kept pulling away. I might just have to do that one on novice mode [emoji53]

They say they're not, the response given by Dan Greenwald no less was "you don't need to finish first to progress" so he's basically saying no problem, but it is on showcase events where you need to win. Gambit had it where he just couldn't catch the other car yesterday.

I'm not as quick as you but I can handle myself in forza. But when you do your fastest lap and it's faster than the car in front's fastest lap and he's still pulling away at a rate, there's nothing you can do add that to the fact that they pit less often than you and an endurance race becomes impossible.
I'm not even racing on unbeatable I'm on highly skilled, this isn't me making excuses as to why I can't win its mathematically impossible to win, if he was just going faster then that could be me, but when I'm going faster in lap times and he's still going faster on the track what do you do?

Then you haven't had the bug, because however good you are if the car does the clearing off thing you'll not catch it.
I did a race yesterday and the car in front drove off. I went after him and did my fastest lap, I checked and it was 2-3 seconds faster than his fastest lap, yet he was much further away at the end of that lap than before. So it's a bug and you mathematically can't win if it happens
However much of a smug **** you are [emoji6]

Yeah, apparently. Turn 10s response to the problem is "you don't need to win to progress through career so it doesn't matter". But in showcases you do need to win. I might try again with a lower drivatar setting see if that helps

I never even had a chance, overtook 2nd at end of lap one, 1st place was the whole length of the back straight ahead, at end of lap 2 he was half way up the start finish straight as I started down the back straight when he didn't pit but I had to, I gave up

Started the Sebring race but one car just !Removed! off into the distance and then did more laps per pit than I could do gave up because there was no way to beat it. It's annoying when it does that, I know turn 10 are looking at it as a lot of people have complained.

Yep, that'll knacker you. I think the rain and dark add an additional challenge certainly the dark, if you run into the car in front and you break the lights it's pretty much game over unless you have rewind, because you genuinely can't see anything without the headlights at Le Mans.

Le Mans tired me out because of the difficulty seeing, is Sebring in the rain because i imagine that'll be the same. Le Mans is in the prototype cars which means visibility is a problem, I went for the open top 2011 Audi which definitely gave the best view of the track

Good news is, with my mods I got 975,000 in prize money, and with spins I got a 1.4mil Indy car, 1.2mil lotus type 49, 2.0mil lotus E23, and 330,000 in cash.
Not a bad result all in all! [emoji3]

Le Mans took almost exactly 2hrs and was hard work because it was dark, in fairness in the endurance races the dark is quite a challenge. You have to really concentrate to remember where you are in the track

Looking at the Le Mans 250, it's in the dark which means it's s challenge if you hit the car I front and break your lights!

Well that's just careless. I do think though they should have had a fuel warning. I only just made 3 laps around the full ring, after that I pitted every other lap

The good thing about the big handicap start mods is that you get 20% credits or XP if you win, but because there's 2 classes and your in the upper class you start in 22nd and are in 14th before the first corner so actually not a handicap at all.

Never bought any mods, I generally use the ones I win on spins, it looks quite hard to recover the 300k outlay unless you get lucky with 60 or 100% mod

Not sure how you're going to do that, but what you need to do is drive it till it gets hot then drive it fir long enough so that it completes the regen cycle. On a 5 mile island you're going to struggle unless you can go round on a loop but you say you have to slow down etc. I'm not sure how sensitive the dpf is to interruptions. I know the forced regen they do in the garage is static so I guess you possibly could do it but I'm not sure what you'd have to do. I'm sure one of the mechanics on here could give you advice. In reality, if you live on a small island you need to switch to a petrol because I'm not sure can get away from the dpf issue.

I did the Nurburgring 125 last night, 8 Los of the longest circuit. I had a 60% xp card and a start in 22nd for an extra 20%. With the 4 spins I won and the prize money I netted about 2mill in cars and cash! Not bad for 1hr 20 mins driving
