  1. Met office just issued weather alert and updated our weather forecast to heavy snow yay! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I know, I'm only jesting. But it is a good idea these days with all the synthetics in oils they're really bad for skin, not like the old days. You want the ones that aren't latex, they do a thin rubber one which is similar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. That's a bit of an old fashioned attitude that wearing gloves makes you a girl. If you did what I do for a living you'd probably think differently, go and have a chat with someone who has contact dermatitis through oil exposure and you might reconsider. Anyway it's your call, there's a whole thread on here about it. Oh and about cancer of the !Removed! also caused by oil and grease, bet now I got your attention [emoji6]. 5. Where's you're gloves, have you seen what damage grease and oil can do to you're hands! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Well only just, but more than anyone else seems to be getting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Well looks like I've got some time with the scoob next few days, Driving to Southampton and back tomorrow, Thetford on Thursday and Friday, Hull Monday and Tuesday and possibly Aldermaston the Wednesday after. Hopefully a little snow to play in at the same time, though I doubt it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Just watching an old topgear (2007) comparing the STi hatch against the Evo, Jezza doesn't like the scoob much.. He described the scoob as looking likes smashed buttock. Despite this the scoob beat the Evo round the track [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. As for the stand off. I know who I'd put my money on [emoji4] I've just hoovered mine out and the wife's. So inside looks nice, outside still looks like I've been rallying Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Go away [emoji35] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Just pulled up outside a shop in Dudley. There's an 02 STi Impreza. Sat in a drive covered in algae and dirt, looks like not moved. Quite a sorry sight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wife gets 51 or 2 driving along the M6 to Dudley in heavy traffic including town driving. I generally get around 53 or 4 but on a long run usually get around 60mpg. I have as a test got 79mpg over 170miles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But this issue only seems to be with your car, as I said I have two and we've only noticed a very slight drop of one or two mpg, which is quite normal. You've had a 20% drop according to your post . Something not quite right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. All we've had is 10mins if hale about 15mins ago, but even that has stopped [emoji30] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. No snow where I am this weekend, I don't live NE I just happen to be visiting there. In in Staffs. We often get bad snow here because of the local geography as we did the last spell. But we've missed out this time [emoji19] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I am week after next, got 2 days in Hull and a day in Teesside. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Any chance you can send some of that my way [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Yeah, I tried to of the cheaper options and you can't even tell what car the car in front was let alone the number plate. Settled on this one after much research. It does record sound but none of them record it well unless you pay big money. That's the one I got, best thing is if I get a video of where it is in the car and you'll see size and position. It's not the smallest but for the money it seems to be the best quality for the price.

not sure why this is, we've two XVs in the household and both are still running around the 50-55 mark. I would suggest there's another issue. I drive with may car on auto on the aircon, but that should affect it much. things that can affect mpg this much tend to be mechanical a dragging brake caliper which is putting resistance, any evidence of smells? winter fuel shouldn't make much difference as I understand. do you use band fuel or supermarket. Brand fuels remain the same levels but supermarket and local fuel suppliers buy there fuel from wherever so whilst you're going to the same garage it may not be the same quality of fuel as last month if they've changed supplier. I only use shell standard diesel (XV doesn't seem to like the Nitro, makes the throttle a bit twitchy). might be worth talking to your local subaru garage if its under warranty or anything
  20. I got a transcend 200, costs about £75 takes upto 30gb cards so records 4hrs, you can read number plates on playback, a lot you can't. Has an impact trigger which stores 10srconds before and 30seconds after impact. I've put a couple of vids up so you can see the quality, though youtube reduces the actual viewing quality, it's better on a laptop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Will be honest Dan wife had s call back booked in to get a quote. When she had it she said it was an automated service and she just hung up and bought elsewhere. I think had it been a person on the end of the phone she'd have continued. Just some feedback. Thanks anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Nothing here this time, think I had mine last time round Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I got a few double takes, I think people thought I was chauffeuring a posh penguins about.[emoji210] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Ha ha, in my old Opel manta I had a 3ft inflatable penguins that was strapped in the back. Obviously in a scoob it had to be a scoobydoo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Sounds like a lucky escape, was the interior as muddy as the outside after that [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
