  1. We went out to snowdonia for the day and they had lots of snow, but none on the roads [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The speed bumps here though are to protect the deer from the by racers, so I don't mind do much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Took the dog for a walk early this morning, we go to a local nature reserve, road there obviously not gritted, not so much snow as ice really. had to pull over off the road near the end to let a car past, easily got out of the verge never saw the TCS lights once throughout the whole journey, even though I tried. put the vid in dash cams to keep tidy. link - http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/6733-dashcams-show-us-your-view/?p=66011 Dog
  4. After last night's snow the temperature dropped severely freezing everything, so this is more of an ice drive than a snow drive. could do with some proper snow though :D
  5. Sadly we had no more snow, most of it went over night, now just got really icy, treacherous roads to deal with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. We've had a couple of inches or so here so far, still snowing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Ah, I get it now. Well as you may have guessed from My met office post I'm in Swansea [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I can't say as I get that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Lets hope for once the weather forecast is right, though I expect nothing more than a little drizzle after the initial flurry we had earlier
  10. Can't really its dark [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Already snowing here, white over already Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yep, living near the sea is always an uphill battle keeping a car in the road. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I know this sounds a bit odd but at least with yours going so often they're unlikely to seize which is what caused them to snap. I've not had this as I think it was only with the earlier Diesel engines. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Got all seasons on mine [emoji41]Heavy snow tonight, around 10pm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Actually, looking at the forecast most of the heavy snow is tomorrow night. Just before I'm supposed to drive to visit the parents Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. It's not due until tomorrow wary hours so probably not me. But I'll be up early tomorrow see if there is any Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I know that, also from experience, I'm just looking to go where everyone else cant Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Same here, plus it'll give me a really good excuse not to visit the parents. Too much snow, so much in fact I'm going to have to go play in it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Snow forecast across the mid/north UK. Maybe, just maybe I'll get to play in the snow in my XV? [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. It's pretty easy to prove you didn't reverse into the car behind with a front camera. Happy Christmas Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Yeah I know, but people will try anything. She claimed that because we hit the car in front we stopped quicker than Normal and without displaying brake lights. She soon baked down once we said we'd got the whole thing on video. Then she just coughed up and accepted full liability. She was almost certainly texting at the time, she didn't even touch the brakes herself. She just drove straight into the back at about 35mph. Her loss as it destroyed her car and just scuffed my bumper, still cost her £1800 mind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I haven't got a dual cam, but to be honest it's pretty clear who's at fault in a rear end even if you only have a front camera. Someone run into the back of my cat and pushed it into the car in front, they claimed I hit the car in front first which is why they couldn't stop, the video even though only showing the front easily priced that she pushed us. 23. I am no expert but when I was looking at buying my diesel I did some research I saw something about this that was to do with glow plugs on the earlier euro diesels. Best bet is to contact your local dealers and get their suggestions, if you search glow plugs on here I think you'll find something about it, certainly will on the internet as it seemed to be quite a well known issue.
  24. This was my encounter this morning, just glad he turned right wouldn't have fancied meeting him head on, not with that headgear!
  25. Clutch judder is a common issue across the subaru range and unless severe would not be covered under warranty on a new car, so surprised it was offered or suggested to you unless it was something you went in and complained about. Ive been advised that even a new clutch can start juddering after 5000 miles so there isn't even really s benefit to replace the clutch for a minor judder. The costs seem fair for a main dealer to be honest, Honda wanted more than that for a clutch replacement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
