  1. This was my encounter this morning, just glad he turned right wouldn't have fancied meeting him head on, not with that headgear!
  2. Clutch judder is a common issue across the subaru range and unless severe would not be covered under warranty on a new car, so surprised it was offered or suggested to you unless it was something you went in and complained about. Ive been advised that even a new clutch can start juddering after 5000 miles so there isn't even really s benefit to replace the clutch for a minor judder. The costs seem fair for a main dealer to be honest, Honda wanted more than that for a clutch replacement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. No worries, has exactly the same issue. Spoke to our dealer which is in Coventry, possibly your closest? Carstins Subaru, it's where I got mine, they've been quite helpful, they pointed out the easy solution. I never even use that stupid keypad. It's not like you leave the car for hours with a dog in so the alarm isn't a big loss. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I got this as we have a dog in our XV. if you use the complicated system in the manual with typing in key codes etc you'll be faffing about forever and a day. our solution is this, when we leave the dog in the car lock the driver's door with the key not the key fob. this sets all the locking system and the deadlocks but does not activate the alarms, which are basically useless anyway as nobody pays any attention to them, I have been informed that the immobiliser is still active though. as the alarm isn't active the sensors aren't either. the coding pad in the fuse box is a joke. trying to do this in the dark, in the rain, with fat fingers, well you get the idea..
  5. Cleaned mine yesterday, but rain stopped play do still got the interior to do and tyres to black. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Result, I pay more on mine than that at about £33 but that's possibly mileage and car replacement value Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. It's not my fault there was a barrier there, if there wasn't a barrier I'd have drifted it out fine [emoji4] Although seriously if you could demonstrate that other cars did the same then there might be some comeback against the road operator Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Sorry to here at total loss but from the photos hardy a surprise. Will you be replacing with a similar vehicle? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Even the !Removed! of the subaru is better looking than the front of the Evo. I just think they're a bit too "in yer face" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. As the sun beats down the vultures circle, waiting for the rich pickings from the recent carcass. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Not tempted then? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Audi and BMW drivers all !Removed!, all with overinflated opinions and all wishing (secretly) they weren't driving a car that you buy by the foot. Let's face it all BMWs and Audis look the same jelly mould shape. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The people that tick me off are those that drive along in a continuous line of traffic and as soon as there's a hint of mist or fog they put their fog light on, even though you've been following them for ages and you're only 20-30yrds behind them. People need to learn how to drive in poor weather. That's the problem Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Me [emoji39] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Ive found the answer, there are two sets of bulbs, one for fogs and one for running lights, you can use fog lights as running lights if they have lensed glass. There you go [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Not sure how the XV gets round that then because they're my running lights Also the rozzers have no idea what the law says most of the time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. You'd hate the XV then, it uses its front fog lights as running lights. So I'm always a fog light ****** Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Doesn't sound good, is it just protesting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. It's only as clean as it is because I drove 70 miles along the M6 in pouring rain which cleaned it up a bit [emoji39] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. [emoji35] leave it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. My 2.0 diesel came in this year at £450! Soon binned them off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Welcome, nice car. You're not far from me I'm in Staffs. Nothing wrong with getting people into Subarus early Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I'm a bit lucky in that I technically work from home so I claim mileage wherever I travel too. Definitely hate that they salt the roads. Other country's you just have to have winter tyres it's much easier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I think this had more to do with crappy country lanes and mud than winter salt. But yes it's going to be a long winter car cleaning [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! :o It's all dirty, all this in one day, a quick trip to a site in Chester, looks like I'll be cleaning this weekend
