  1. Transcend 200pro in the end but tried several before that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. To be honest the only thing that pushed me towards the camera I had was that you couldn't read number plates on most of the cheaper ones, and I tried a few "HD" cameras which had horrendous quality so have up in the end and spent £70. Can't fault the image clarity. And you can read number plates, handy for those that hit you and do one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Pretty much same as my set up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I use 5min segments as these are quite manageable. Other than that I loop mine in a 4hr cycle. It depends how big you memory card is really as to how you loop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. People forget how squishy they are until it's too late. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. We get that here too, but we get peletons round here when the local cycle clubs start, you can have about 50 inconsiderate cyclists that you just can't get past. At least in London you know they're going to try and kill themselves Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Looks like it was lucky you were paying attention too. ABS kicked in avoiding that cyclist, you can see the bonnet bouncing as it did Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. my idiot of the week, all i can say is he was lucky i was looking at what I was doing!
  9. Know that feeling, very weak left ankle from years of judo. But having dislocated my left knee 5 times now have learned the art of falling gracefully, or as my wife calls it, going down like a sack of spuds. Trying to stay upright usually results in my knee popping and that's much more painful than the floor hit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Go pro hero £99 on shopto.com at the minute, probably an early version Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Where there's blame there's a claim, where there isn't there always some idiot company willing to give it a go Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. You can take him to court over the damage of you have photos of the mud on the road, he is liable. If you were driving to the road conditions it's not reasonable for you to expect the road to become slippery, it's his fault at the end of the day, I'd ask him for HIS 3rd party liability insurance details after you've photographed the mud Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Weren't practicing for Forza races were you, noticed you kept hitting things then. Sorry to see that though, at least people are intact and doesn't look like too much damage from the photo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. No it looked like a crushed car in a scrap yard so it was much better looking than the new Astra Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I used to work there! Lost two works cars on the hard shoulder with flashing lights and chevrons, both taken out by errant lorries, I was shutting the door on one when a foreign lorry literally took it out of my hand and turned it into a debris field, car was about 6ft long afterwards, started as an Astra estate! So I fully understand where you're coming from. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Well, at least an easy fix, scary though I imagine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Looks like mine will be getting the full works wash and wax, after doing 1000 miles this week it's looking like a reps car. Think the pressure washer will get some use today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. For driving on roads in any conditions I'd leave vdc system active. The only time you might want to turn it off is on a very slippy/gravelly steep hill when the wheels will slip, this is because the engine will try to stop the wheels slipping but cutting engine revs. But generally unless you're looking to do power slides you're best leaving it on. The car should straighten itself out if you slide. When your wife slid in the snow was that with it on or off? If it was off then you would drift into the outer lane, if it was in you shouldn't it should detect the slide and steer the car where you want to go As I understand you can switch the system on and off at will, it doesn't matter when you turn it off as its an electronic system not a mechanical like a diff lock. but unless your doing serious off road or racing etc you should never need it off. 19. Got wife's car filthy, well rather hers than mine [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Sounds like a recipe for disaster [emoji33] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I generally hit around 55, 79mpg was a proof of concept. It's called hypermiling. 60mph on cruise control on a long motorway run, find a lorry doing about 60 and tuck in behind, only use the cruise controls to speed up and slow down and maintain about 3 car lengths behind the lorry. Not saying this is the right way to drive only that it's fuel efficient. Saves about 30% if you draft, you still save 15% if you're 50m behind amazingly. Don't brake and don't use the throttle. Can't drive like that all the time as it's hard work and not much fun. Some people even tape up door seams on doors they don't use to improve aerodynamics [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Does your method involve rohypnol? If so I think you've got your bird types mixed up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. It's not here yet! It'll probably just rain Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. To be honest, if it snows bad enough for the A14 to be a nightmare I'll not be getting out of stafford Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Met office just issued weather alert and updated our weather forecast to heavy snow yay! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
