  1. Some people use 'millers' nano oil, but it can cost upto £75 just for 5 litres
  2. The engines are very reliable, don't worry about a rebuild. There are loads with over 100k on the clock. There are a lot of reasons that engines fail, owners that use 95 ron fuel, or fit performance parts without a remap, or just rag it from cold. If it has been looked after and has FSH, always run on 99 Ron fuel and warmed up before ragging it, it should be fine
  3. there's a custom car show in York raising money for the air ambulance and brain injury unit. if you put your car on a stand, it's only £5 ;) you need to be quick because there are loads signing up https://www.facebook.com/events/1436974566516598/
  4. it's a good 'chill out' kind of show, not mad and hectic like some of the other shows I've been for the last couple of years, but this year I'm going to the Thoresby Jap and Ford show (both on the same day)
  5. good videos, it doesn't sound that loud I get the fuel slosh even with over 1/4 tank left, could d with a baffled tank or something I've got a slight squeak from the rear when it gets warm too, is it hard to take them off?
  6. martin is a great guy, I've known him about 4 years. very helpful and he's one of the few that won't have your pants down for servicing, a few of us buy the oil we want and martin uses that and charge us less (some people have preferred brands) I'm sure he won't have a problem if you want to buy your own belt, but not sure how the warranty would work if an item supplied by you failed???
  7. just posted most of the pix on this thread http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/6147-pix-from-april-sheffield-meet/
  8. It was a great turn out, plenty of old faces and lots of new ones too :thumb:
  9. I've only put some of my pics on, I didn't get chance to put them all on at half 5 this morning [emoji3]
  10. Stantion, your car is in 2 photos, number 3 & 8
  11. I'm 36 with 10 years NCB, but I had a bump 18 months ago (protected) no points, the nearest 5 streets are decent with no crime, but about quarter a mile away there's a council estate that's a bit rough. I think that's more of a problem than the car I drive.
  12. Depends on convenience, if you're near a store, then yes I'd call in and pick one up, but my nearest store is 25 mins away, so getting it delivered would be a bonus
  13. Halfords charge £13 for mixing a spray can!!!!
  14. looking good B)
  15. good pic's of some great cars :) Gambit, I love the dodge viper too, 8 litre V10
  16. I'm sure we'll get some good pics between us
  17. Sounds like it's running rich Personally I'd remove the boost controller and the superchip, then get a custom remap. Racedynamix do a mobile remap, usually about £350. At least then you know everything is fine. It's not cheap, but it's a lot cheaper than an engine rebuild! What happens if you try something and kill your engine?
  18. lol I went to B & Q for some stuff for the garden earlier. I had a play with an R1 on the way there, I pulled away from his mate (don't know what he was on) and then we went onto a dual carriageway, he came past me, he looked over, I gave him the thumbs up, he nodded and the pulled a wheelie and went off on his way I put 200kg of stuff in the car (sand, cement, etc) and headed off home. An Octavia VRS wanted a play, oh go on then :D, he couldn't shake me off, then we went onto a dual carriage way and I passed him, I looked over, but he was just staring straight ahead and never looked over, loser
  19. upskirt photos
  20. that footage is better than I thought it would be does it save everything, or just save after an impact? or can you press a button to save last 3 minutes or so?
