  1. Hey guys, As some of you know, recently fitted a decat up-pipe second time around with one from good ol' @savage bulldogs. Exhaust leak is all sorted and works perfectly fine, altho now the rocker cover gasket just above where the up-pipe sits has started leaking. Not sure whether something has shifted slightly when trying to man-handle the old up-pipe out or when I jacked up the engine slightly as there is no evidence of it leaking before. So now there is a small amount of oil that seeps out and goes onto the up-pipe and obviously burns away, thankfully it's only a very small amount so it doesn't smoke very much, more the smell gets in the cabin when stationary! Is replacing the gasket an overly difficult task? Potentially something me and my mate can do on my driveway in an afternoon? Cheers!
  2. It's all a balancing act... drive sensibly when it's busy, drive like you stole it when you feel like it... swings and roundabouts!!
  3. 8 miles of downhill driving? :D
  4. EJ25 is the 2.5l lump, the blob originally comes with the 2l (EJ20) lump. Why are you wanting to put a 2.5 in?
  5. I'm amazed a mod hasn't just commented on this then locked it XD
  6. Very nice! What mods are you thinking of doing?
  7. Welcome to the club! Pics are mandatory btw....
  8. New heat wrap applied to the up-pipe!
  9. Heat wrap and metal zip ties have arrived as well... got all the bits to do the up-pipe now, Saturday can't come quick enough!!
  10. Fitting a decat up-pipe (replacing a crap ebay one) with a H&S one I just got off Savage... so decided to go all genuine gaskets :D

  12. woooooooooooow... can't unsee that!
  13. That's spooky... I was about to PM you to ask that very question. I've heard that was the case but wanted to confirm. Pretty much straight after I finish work at 7AM on Saturday I'll be tearing the car down, already roped in a mate to help! (don't worry, will be using my wifes car for work so my car is stone cold) :D
  14. Me too... absolutely blo - ody stunning!!

  18. Who's the one that looks like he should be dancing on the ceiling?
  19. Excellent! I know if I were to give up my WRX to go for something more sensible and family friendly, would seriously consider a Levorg.
  20. Welcome to the club!! First Levorg user I've seen on here (I'm sure there are a couple of others). Only ever seen one out in the wild.I really like them. How do you find the engine? I know the Japanese get a bigger 2 litre turbo engine... probably the same engine they are putting in the new WRX
