  5. Car has ticked over 50k miles today!
  6. Got 346 out of my last tank... :P
  7. They are single mass... so the parts are considerably cheaper http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=210_581&osCsid=itg7v0fi7glfkrngr5jebfh315
  8. GFB respons is a good one... adjustable between atmospheric or recirc so you can tweek it to keep your car happy. http://www.scoobyparts.com/performance/gfb-tuning-products/gfb-respons-tms-bov
  9. Yeh they only do carpet ones... struggling to find proper rubber mats, can find them for the forester etc... not impreza... found universal ones? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMPREZA-WRX-STI-UNIVERSAL-RUBBER-CAR-FLOOR-MATS-/170593136894?fits=Model%3AImpreza&hash=item27b824b0fe:m:mV4DJw2IkNxq_-LTnOgt-4w
  10. Welcome to the club! The Blob WRX is a solid car... I've had mine for a couple of years and had very few issues (age related stuff) An uprated panel filter is always recommended since it is a cheap and simple mod, go for a dry type (Cosworth are highly recommended) as the oiled ones could foul the MAF. De-cat up-pipe is a good idea as it aids turbo spool and if that cat were to fail... buh-bye turbo! When going for a remap, it would be a good idea to upgrade your fuel pump as well. I've removed the 3rd cat in my system also, doesn't really add much to the standard map but does make the burble a bit more distinct. I'll be fitting a fuel pump, de-cat up pipe and remap to mine in the coming months!
  11. 13mm is 0.511 inches. Yeh it's not going to be exact as it's a different measurement... but it's near enough to use a half inch ratchet
  12. It is indeed...
  13. Welcome to the club!!
  14. Goodyear Eagle F1's are very good and a lot of us use them. Can be had for just under 100 a corner if you shop around
  15. Insurance is a funny game... My new boss drives a C63 AMG, I thot for a laugh to get an insurance quote from confused.com.... I can get insured for £360... 20 quid cheaper than my scoob.
  16. Did the Subaru wave to a nice import Foz STI and a light blue blob STI... Also saw my first Levorg in the flesh, nice looking car!!
  17. You won't get much beyond 300 miles to a tank either... less if you hoon it around :D
  18. Probably... think he was trying to impress the girl in the passenger seat. I'm sure she was turned on by watching me go off into the distance :D
  19. Guy in a Fiesta ST tried to race me... quick little car but didn't have the legs to keep up :D
  20. Yeh I have no intention of doing this on the cheap... doing it properly first time around!
  21. My car doesn't like Tesco 99... every now and again it takes 2-3 seconds of cranking to start the engine on that fuel. Switch back to v-power, no issues!
  22. Seems a decent price since the goodyears set you back around £100 a corner... which is still reasonable i suppose!
  23. Engine bay looks brand new!!
  24. Loving the yellow!
  25. Goodyear Eagle F1's are pretty popular for the scoobs... I've been using them since owning the car, all year round as well and they have performed really well! Will still be interesting to see what you think of the michelins! How much are they?
