How much are you short by? As far as I'm aware, the exhausts are the same for blob and hawk... Any pics of the new system?

I think the majority of people on here use dry filter types (Pipercross, cosworth etc) K&N is an oiled one which could potentially knacker the maf... I personally use a cosworth (I've also used pipercross) and they are both very good.

From what I've seen they are both susceptible... I think the WRX head gasket going is more common thatn ringland failure... @aucky had a WRX hatch and his HG went... can't remember how many miles it had on it, don't think it was loads?

For the cost of a set of braided lines... you may as well do it if you're swapping calipers over.

Seen some fail at less than 40k... seen some go at close to 100k... some don't go at all, it's just your luck. But there are more cases of ringland or head gasket issues with the 2.5 compared to the 2.0 Few people on here have experienced this... maybe be an idea to set some money aside if you do go down that route... ye know... just in case! No but you need to remove the coil packs... if the plugs haven't been done in a while, you may as well change them as they are accessible at this point. I did it when i changed my gasket last year

I put around 11 gallons into the tank... so around 34mpg. Which means that I had around 2 gallons left in the tank! Think it's a 13 gallon tank...

The wheels are, had them refurbished in gold... bought the nuts to go along with them, those nuts only lasted a year
