  1. my honest opinion on these sort plates,me and the mrs have a good laugh at them as their not really any good in my opinion, they look like someone got their 4 year old to write it or someone like me who carnt spell ,only personal plate i would have would be my initials and year i was born or my name something like that, but each to their own so i say if you like it then go for it.
  2. I washed mine today,i took it out in the rain [emoji3] Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk

  4. hi guys, can anyone tell me do brembo front and rear brakes off a blob or hawk fit straight on a 08-10 hatch wrx,had couple people say they don't and a couple say they do and if i get them off a 04 blob then disks will fit as well as they have 5-100 stud pattern,is that right? anyone fitted them to a hatch,i have been looking for brembos off the hatch sti as their a straight swap but they don't come up very often but plenty about off blob and hawks, don't want to spend all that and find they wont go on,thanks guys.
  5. today i have fitted some mudflaps ready for winter weather, rallyflaps z make they are, universal fit, originally got them for when i was having midlife crisis and got the focus st but never got round to putting them on it,so slap't them on the hatch,no picture as it gettin dark and hard to see them.
  6. fitted mudflaps today
  7. this may explain them a bit better
  8. am going to do a 2 can set up,i have found all the mishimoto stuff i have had has been over price crap.
  9. catch can is a easy job to do
  10. lol £400 were you buying that from, you can get them for about £60 on ebay but i was looking at this 1 as its a good name, but can make your own for less then £100 http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/WRX__and__STI_08-10_Cusco_Oil_Catch_Cans/SU8_692009A_.aspx
  11. @Xander i have not had any pipes off yet to have a look, but i have been looking at catch cans as well,i was going to go with the grimmspeed air oil seperator but it is a bit expensive and has a couple of issues i have heard on youtube from people who have fitted that,so just going to go with a catch can, easy job to do and dont take long.
  12. welcome to the club, think if subaru had sold the wide body wrx in england instead of just the narrow body they would have been more popular here.
  13. big power = big money, try do it cheap and it will cost you more when you
  14. It will need major modin to look rite.the peace in middle is longer and the hawk is slightly flatter profile across front of bottom off bumper then the blob.so wouldnt stick out even round the edge.as i found out when i orders a extension kit and they sent wrong 1 for my blob. 15. i used some of these spaced round it got them from wilko but bit smaller 1's they only have 1 hole in them and painted them black and some m4-25mm bolts, just remember when you cut your grill out to leave the edge so zunsport will push up to it,then bracket stands behind and hooks under edge.works a treat.
  16. well my mrs kept complaining that car look stupid without the lower grill,so to keep her happy i got a zunsport mesh grill to fit, turned into a pain in the rear as zunsports just screw straight into the existing grill but mine had been cut out for the front mount,so i have had to make some brackets to fit it,but the work was worth it in the end and i hate to admit it but i think she was rite, looks much better with a grill in and while i had bumper off it was a good time to change my upper grill and fit my hella horns, pleased with the finished look, time for now.
  17. Yeah think the mapper did a good job as it still averages 26.7mpg when drove sensible and is like a standard car.when you put foot down its a diffrent car, plenty power in any gear from any speed,so am well happy with it [emoji3] Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  18. welcome to the club, always good to see more hatch owners,i had 07 wrx hatch and now have 08 wrx hatch,as @Tidgy said dont put crap petrol in it i allways use shell vpower,a good easy upgrade is a good aftermarket panel filter, regualar oil changes wont hurt it,if your going to upgrade power at all i would concider upgrading the intercooler as its a week link on the wrx and wrx's,very small and very thin and the end caps are plastic and bonded on and can leak.if your not good with a power polisher then may pay to have a profesional give it a good polish, nice car by the way
  19. the lines make more sense now, cheers mate
  20. took front bumper off to do a couple jobs on it,put back on,finish it tommorow as days are getting shorter now, time for a
