  1. What do you want 1 for.their basiclly ok for looks and noise.if you fit a front mount intercooler you need 1 as the standard airbox comes out.if you look on youtube at mightycarmods they test them on a dyno and results show the standard air box gave the best power.my hatch has a aem on but to be honest if i did not have the front mount fitted i would take it off and go for a good panel filter in box. 2. i had a blob 2.0gx and the rad hose's from a blob wrx fitted it,so maybe these are the same mate.
  3. most usually go for a vf35 off the sti,but with the right accompanying mods and a map i dont see why it wouldnt work, your not expecting to bolt the turbo on and it give you 400bhp are you?
  4. why did you pick the vf48?
  5. what offset are the 18s could be wrong and are catching something.
  6. Am not in till 12 tonite so can sort it all in mornin mate. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  7. I can find out in mornin mate am just goin work now,its usually about £10.i took it off as i had a hatchback before this 1 i have now and got the sane grill for that and decided it was making this look like a copy of my other hatch and i wanted it to look diffrent, both my hatchs are in the build threads on here. 9. zunsport make a lower mesh grill that screws straight to your original lower grill.
  10. i am in south yorkshire mate,no its not a ebay nock off its a genuine subaru part so fit is spot on,i have a wrx model but its same grill for them all,wrx,sti,330.
  11. Cool will keep that in mind.am not going to jump in and buy any am going to wait for some of a hatch. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  12. 07 onwards impreza hatchback front mesh grill,in dark grey, been on my car about 3 weeks so is in new condition,so if you want to get rid of the plastic mirror chrome crap subaru fit then this is for you,£50 pick up or post a buyers cost.
  13. thanks guys,so what i have found out is front, brembo calipers from a blob, hawk or hatch will fit straight on to the wrx you ideally want the bolts as well but can order them if not supplied with calipers, when ordering disks you need to order 2004 sti disk, also need to change the brake lines as well and your good to go up front. rear is more a problem, brembo calipers from a blob, hawk are not a straight fit you need to find somewhere that sells an adapter braket for them to fit or have someone make you one.calipers from a hatch sti are a straight fit, just need to trim dust cover to fit disks you need to have them redrilled with 5-100pcd or find some muliti fit pcd one's but i have not had a look to see what brands makes do them yet so is it worth messing about with rears or just have brembo fronts and crap calipers rear,or big brake conversion front like k-sports or something up front and crap calipers rear, personally i would like nice brakes that are the same all round so think the big brake k-sport thing is not for me as it would bug me every time i look at the crap rear calipers,so i think in the end i will go with the brembos all round when they come up from a hatch sti.
  14. so been thinking about the grill i fitted,as much as i like it i kept thinking the car was starting to look like a copy of the hatch i had before and i dont want that,so it had to come off.their no sti grills for sale at moment i can find,so i had a look at the original grill, turns out its 3 parts so i took it to bits, got rid of the crap mirror finish and dremmeled the centre of the grill out.after the paint was dry i cut some mesh and finally fitted wrx badge.once i get some black paint i will paint the bumper support black as its blue at minute, but not a big job that.
  15. best do a good job of it then so its worthy of its place, thanks @Gambit
  16. Could 1 of the alloys be out of shape, are they brand new alloys or second hand, even if their brand new could have a defect in 1 off them.and as @zander said the wrxs has 18s on so got to be defect tyre or wheel somethin like that . Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
  17. My brother had bad noise coming from his car after he had put some new tyres on,could not figure out what it was but we decided to go back to tyre shop and see if they had ballanced them up right.turned out 1 of the new tyres they put on was out of shape, they changed tyre and was as good as new.maybe its something like that. 22. the 1st blob wrx had rear and all for doors tinted, dont no who did it as was done when i got car,but the tint film was on the outside on the door windows so no problem with it rubbing and pealing off, also heard some people say they put a bit of 3m primer for vinnal on the edge to stop it pealing but dont no how right that is.
