  1. do you mean the one right at top that has a pin you push in in the middle or once that have a screw type end on them,mine dont have the little one in,but if you mean the other one with screw middle i will send you a couple i have loads them,got them on ebay.

  4. ok so got my other 2 wheels painted today and on car,think my dad was looking down on me and made sun come out so i could get them done will get some pictures done of car with them on tomorrow when my new bling lug nuts come. so moving swiftly on to my next mod,as you no i have a front mount intercooler on car and i was thinking about the vent in the bonnet and how i could make some use of it and i thought hmmm stick a oil cooler under it,so i have done a quick photoshop of what it would sort of look like and i think yep lets go for it,so will be ordering parts shortly and any advice on them would be a big help guys
  5. welcome to the club and welcome back into the big subaru family,nice looking example you have their in betty,my mrs has named mine cecil .if your worried about pilling the miles on then i recommend get a cheap car for work and save betty for the fun stuff.

  7. hi guys got a couple questions about oil coolers.i no you use a thermostatic sandwich plate so the cooler only cools oil when it gets up to temp,the things am not sure about is 1 do you need to fill cooler with oil or just do engine oil as normal. 2 if you dont have to fill with oil then when oil starts going into cooler wont your oil drop bellow empty mark and damage engine,starve engine of oil,also will it effect oil pressure and will that run risk damage. thinking off adding one to list mods for my car,thanks guys.

  10. can get a wrx cheap and work on that make it nice for a lot less then converting a none turbo,i have had 3 none turbos and kept telling my self its cheaper then a turbo but it not,costs me less to run the turbo then it did a none turbo,i also thought about turboing my last none turbo,but the time cost and everything just does not make it worth it,buy a turbo car you will soon find plenty to keep you using the spanners on it

  13. i was with direct line about 10 year ago,price was not bad for a fiesta rs turbo,but if it had mods then they wouldnt have insured it.am with tesco this year not cheapest but service is ok,but will look round this time when i get my new price if it has gone up.
  14. finished painting my wheels dark grey today ready for winter,wont see their dirty now as easy other winter
  15. hi,it sould be ok but i would message them and ask for the dimensions first to make sure it fit your header tank hole,i would think it will be same,but dont hurt to ask them.
  16. hi guys,so the wheels was looking a bit crap,going to be getting new after winter,so for now i have gave them a quick blow over with a new colour,only got 2 done with the nights closing in so will do the other too in the morning if its dry. primer paint clear coat

  19. i dont think their is a haynes manual for the bugeye,i wanted it for the torque settings for stuff but i could never find one anywere,
  20. @craigieboy46 did you find the problem,i will be going to 18 after the winter,dont want to run into any problems as well.
