  1. The interior and steering wheel are usually different. Double din stereo may be a clue. Can also cross reference the chassis code.
  2. There was a pizza truck!?
  3. Still got a few say they're going but no commitments. If there's some left I'm sure I can fill a few.
  4. Welcome to the club! Good bunch here. Have a snoop round plenty of info too. Chuck up some pictures. [emoji106] [emoji4]
  5. I circled the recirc valve. The pipe coming out from the right needs to be bunged. Make sure it has an adapter plate that fits on to the intercooler.
  6. You'll likely have the same engine set up as me then. It's pretty much the same step by step. Just the standard valve is directly attached to the intercooler.
  7. Not a bad number that. What boost was that set at?
  8. That's an early diagram for a classic. My recirc/dump valve is attached directly to the intercooler. What year is your car mica?
  9. Bit of shock therapy won't hurt it either. [emoji12] get ya hammer ready
  10. WD40 for a few days. Be careful of the brakes.
  11. Here we go for September! Summer was brief and the weather has closed in over recent weeks. Don't let that out you off. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=4558 The pub hosts a full bar and restaurant that serves hot and cold food with a good reputation for a nice dinner. Plenty of seating so feel free to bring along the family. There is a children's play area just outside too. Along with the rules the pub has given us I'd like to add a couple more. 1. Keep the car park tidy 2. Use the pubs facilities 3. No loud revving of engines inside the car park 4. No idiotic behaviour I'm sure we all know the basics and I'm sure we will adhere to them. Remember we want to keep this meet going for a long time. This month's meet is going to be held at 7:00pm. There are two convoys with one running from Medway tunnel and the other travelling from McDonald's in plumstead. The Wharf Cotton Lake Galleon Blvd Dartford Kent DA2 6QE
  12. Beat me to it Sam. Next bet would be a doner vehicle.
  13. Good to hear sandals. It's made my Xmas list that's for sure.
  14. It really is a great club. We have a few meets during the year and its always great to put faces to names.
  15. Looks smart. What were on before?
  16. Give him £1450 and he will tell you [emoji38]
  17. Agree with Marty. The 2.5 are getting a reputation for letting go a little easy. While the engine is open you may as well replace the bearings too. I'd hate to hear you spend a bunch of cash on the HG only a few thousand miles the damage from overheating becomes apparant with a lot of knocking.
  18. I know the fuel cut well. I've had it a few times the same way you described. But this wasn't a cut issue. I had rev but only low boost. The fuel cut is quite aggressive and bam there it is. This issue was just the car running normally at reduced boost. I haven't cleaned the solenoid myself so I may flush it over the weekend. I do the same at 1/4 tank or less. It catches me out coming off roundabouts sometimes. I thought it was a boost issue until Duncan explained the problem being a poorly designed tank.
  19. Conditions were the same as previous runs so that should effect it. Could be a wastegate issue/actuator as that would be inconsistently showing as a fault. Good shout Marty
  20. Was it to prevent the guy using the filter lane?
  21. So..bit of a strange one. After exiting a roundabout in 2nd and applying the loud peddle I only got 0.7-8 bar boost. I'm set to 1.3. Into 3rd and had full boost. Went up the road to have a testing session. Tried again and 2nd gave me full boost. Pulled up at a set of lights. Didn't go full launch but once in to the gear I gave it some again in 1st and only got 1.0-1bar. Into 2nd and had full boost again no further issues. Got home and had a listen/check. Couldn't hear any air leaks or dodgy isles. No cel on during the issue period. So, brains ready. Let's have a pick. What do you reckon?
  22. Oh, and welcome to the club [emoji6] [emoji5]
  23. I'm in the same boat right now. If the bearing has been bad for a while it may have scored the hub too. I'm buying the whole hub with bearing for £50 and fitting it myself as its all nuts and bolts. I'm replacing the hub and sending mine away to pressed and check before fitting a new bearing in it. But this way the car is still on the road and not making a racket. If the garage remove the old bearing and find the hub fubard you will be up **** creek trying to decide what to do about a new hub.
