  1. I'm the same brog. Gave up with the wheel in the end
  2. I think where it's more realistic you're softer when turning in and more controlled with the throttle/brake. With a pad the turn in isn't very progressive. They're pricey though. Well worth it for the passionate racers but difficult to justify for a casual racer.
  3. Do they not go invisible or transparent? It does take some getting used to. You'll be alright when you get that wheel [emoji6]
  4. I'm no good on an empty track. No competition makes it harder to put in a fast lap time. With a ghost I find it easier to spot my mistakes or they show a better line other than racing line.
  5. I'm always on the edge. Best way to live life [emoji23]
  6. Use a ghost as a guide. Pick one that has a time quite far ahead. Not just a couple hundreth. Don't follow the racing line. Don't trust the braking line. Feather the throttle. Never full/off in a corner. Unbalanced the car. Gear down before the corner. During the corner will slip the wheels.
  7. Ha ha just change my password. Then I'll think its my fault. [emoji23]
  8. More than happy to support and advise. Just having the crack. Apologies for any offence caused. Not my intention to rub people, just do it for the laugh. It's always meant tongue in cheek. Life is perfectly easy for me just gotta lighten up.
  9. I dont adjust my controller. For my findable cars I reduce brake pressure to 85%. That gives the same effect as adjusting controller settings reducing lock up. You get more travel on the trigger before locking up. For top gear, I just deal with it like a pro [emoji41]
  10. When you can tune a car reduce the pressure to 85%. Same as adjust controller I suppose.
  11. Yeah sure [emoji57] I only did a few laps too [emoji23]
  12. Because you missed me too much [emoji18] or was it because you needed a decent lap time target?
  13. I've only put a warm up time in so far. Didn't want to go race speed before you all have a go and give up
  14. You lot wouldn't understand but it's quite hard being this good. Well, it used to be. I haven't needed to try hard for a while. Pretty much perfected it now. I did faulted last night, checked the lap times just in case but I shouldn't have been so worried [emoji41] [emoji57]
  15. But it is the second largest part of me [emoji41]
  16. Catching doesn't count really. I'll only worry when you're a second in front of me. Don't expect to be at the top too long if you shave off .100[emoji6] [emoji18] [emoji57]
  17. Flux offered me £498 for my next year which isn't due for renewal until mid January. Had no faults with Keith Michaels and will see about the renewal price from them soon.
  18. They all say that in the leader board [emoji5] the semi circle on the right on the leader board shows a paint file used. If the semi circle was on the left then that would indicate a tuned/modified file being used.
  19. What size is the Sti front vs wrx standard?
  20. Nice. I was debating about the 24mm but this 22 came up at a reasonable price.
  21. Cheers Matt. Looking forward to feeling the difference.
  22. I have seen a little cheat for this track. At the hammerhead you can go straight on and avoid the left turn. You can watch the ghost to check anyone's time
  23. No tunes at all. No tyre pressures. All gotta be the same
