  1. Wotcha and welcome - yes combined diff and transaxle box - take more oil than that of the rear diff. You will probably need a T70 bit
  2. boot spoiler on that legacy and you are good to go
  3. I have read an article somewhere - cannot remember if it was magazine or online but they researched temps vs colour and there was not much in it black or silver. If I remember I will reference it The original white van allegedly came from the ford transit chaps leaning against a dark van and finding it considerably warmer than the white ones - cannot remember the specific temp difference but it was enough to create the white van man legend so whilst stationary yes you will have increased temp vs a white car but once moving the intercooler difference will be little. Misimoto are banging out some quality gear at the moment so as a brand I would but their stuff - I have the OAS marked as must have for our next hatch. Only other thing that may be of consequence is that I have read somewhere - again apologies as I cannot recall where, that the intake for the sharkeye is ineffective at higher speeds, so further investigation may be required there...??

  5. really surprised this hasnt gone
  6. I wouldnt go down the turbo route as there is so much to change you would be better starting with one with a turbo already. From a power perspective short of a less restirictive exhaust and a high flow panel filter you wont see much improvement with a large spend of cash. Focus instead on handling and power to weight ratio, remove what you can from the car and upgrade suspension brakes and anti roll bars
  7. sounds awesome - great progress there
  8. Awesome - some sensible mods there

    They do look substantial
  17. Wotcha and welcome - what car do you have currently, any mods planned?
  18. Tidy
  19. exhaust and filter mods will benefit from a remap so I would fit the stuff you have listed and get it arranged. Standard airboxes are not too bad - a high flow panel filter works pretty well. in the short term why not go back to the standard airbox? Unless you are changing the turbo stick with the TMIC - a session on the dyno may show the benefit of a thicker TMIC with the standard turbo and your current changes - dont know if there is a different between WRX and STI TMIC? Oh also Wotcha and welcome
  20. Again a lot of motor for the money - hope it gets snapped up
