  1. oooh I do like that spoiler looks spot on - putting your own mark on cars and bikes is great - just be careful its a slippery slope but a great slide, very addictive :D
  2. Thanks Pete - Ill crunch some numbers
  3. looking at moving to virgin at the moment to combine tv broadband and phone cut some costs however after browsing the web it appears the call to disconnect Sky TV is going to be a messy one
  4. I think the car can carry a spoiler, go subtle or go for a full on GT spec blade :) BTCC style
  5. Looking good - obviously got an eye for a shot
  6. Wotcha and welcome - that is indeed a tidy looking motor, sounds like you have sensible mods there already and with the STI spec you have brakes suspension roll bars all beefed up as well - with 330bhp I'd say just keep adding shell Vpower & sticky rubber. I would encourage you to get a forum sticker on your vehicle but we seem to have some supply issues at the moment but hopefully that is being rectified :D ah just thought have your cam belts been done - if not it would be worth looking at those and possibly changing the coolant pump for a design that doesn't cavitate at high revs, possibly a higher pressure oil pump as well - not essential but for me it would be peace of mind
  7. When it comes to brake pads performance and long lasting don't tend to go hand in hand. For best performance I would go EBC yellow but as a compromise to get slightly longer life choose EBC red. Ferrodo has also been recommended in previous threads on the subject (cant remember the specific type number though) I have used them in the past but again great results though I don't remember them lasting too long
  8. and I dare say one of them includes the use of a big hammer
  9. 08 Impreza is just screw on - didnt want to say that in case it had an auto box with a captive screw or something :P
  10. kwik fit have kitted their places out with decent four wheel laser alignment gear - I was pointed in their direction by a former scooby owner mechanic they came in at £80
  11. sorry cant help you with that one - One of the others will be along in a bit I'm sure to point you in the right direction.
  12. dont think redex will sort it - yes I would pull the sender out and give it a service - it should be with the petrol pump so not too hard a job to complete, dependant on how old the car / mileage is consider replacing the fuel pump whilst you are there?
  13. good idea with the earth lead - yup the OCD in me would have to sort the left one out particularly as you did such a good job with the headlights :D
  14. I could live with that - would probably have to de rail the front grill

  17. Good luck with the sale :) amp 45wx4 channels at 4 ohm impedance wheel
  18. Had it when I was younger driving 200sx and scirroco not had any issues with Scooby
  19. I dont think its true - there are too many eyes on them at the moment, they will be doing all that stuff to maintain his stasis and monitoring for indications of a recovery - getting him off the drugs and letting his body start taking over / or not will indeed take time
